"Good bye…"

No…

His eyes had the same warm glow, ever so welcoming and accepting. All he could do was watch as that very same glow started to dim slowly, fading away with the warmth of his body.

"I wish it would have been better, but…"

Don't…

A red flower had bloomed on his breast pocket and was growing steadily. It would have been beautiful if it hadn't been the cause of his love slipping away.

"I hope you'll forgive me…"

Stop it…

A white-haired man was grinning a few feet away. He did not spare him a glance. The only thing in his eyes was the fallen form in his arms.

"I love you…"

Don't you dare!

His eyes were fluttering, getting ready to close for the final time. He clutched at his body desperately, willing him to heal, willing him to look at him once again with those warm eyes. And for a second, he did. Tsuna looked at him straight in the eyes and smiled. He smiled in response, knowing that it was alright. Tsuna would be okay and everything would go back to normal. His love would save him once more. His smile slipped when he realized it couldn't be this perfect.

Tsuna gazed at him lovingly and whispered one more precious word with his last breath.

"Kyouya…"
