Hi, guys! Author here. Surprise! I will be updating this fanfiction again and trying to keep it current as well as writing a more realistic and in character version of Sebastian's journal (or notebook, whatever floats your boat). I know this holds a different tone than this story overall, but I thought perhaps it could show a deeper insight into the mind and daily life of Sebastian Michaelis. The new story as well as the next chapter of our wonderful adventure should be posted soon! Thank you so much for your long term support and comments!

Here's a sneak preview of the new fanfiction to be posted in the near future:

The ink on the corner of the page that would have likely been used to mark the day and year was smudged, as if a finger were to graze over the ink to see if it had dried, but it had not. Moreover the rest seemed to be legible, clear and clean script that was obviously penned by a skilled hand.. The first entry read:

Unknown year and day

I do not believe I will ever under it. It. Them. Humans. I will never understand why they have such mannerisms. Why they put their selves through such pain in order to only possibly obtain an immeasurable goal that is vastly unachievable.. I will never understand the young master's struggles, the 'demons' he fights with as he makes his next move.

It is seemingly not a decision, but again, a move. As it is a game. A simple game of chess. The young master is seated at one side and some unseen force is seated adjacent, seeming flicking pawns off the table as they approach the knight and bishop.. Little do they know he has slowly been pushing the rook towards the king and the queen, on the cusp of finally capturing them when he is noticed.

He is human. He is fickle and shallow. He is willing to give everything, his life, for one goal...

Thank you so much for reading, commenting, and favoriting my stories! I am so happy to be back. Drop me a comment with any thoughts on the new story! New chappie should drop next week!
