An Author's Announcement

Hello there. Apprentice To Fantasy here after being "dead" for like 5 to 6 years. I'm currently in the middle of my college semester and I'm somewhat struggling. I'm doing okay, so I thought I could make some time to make this announcement. I'll be honest, I'm not good with this short of thing, so I'll do my best to summarize what I'm planning to do.

First off, my stories. It's been years since I've uploaded any new chapters and to be frank, I think it's about time to just restart from scratch. I've played other games and read some other light novels, so it came to me that it's about time to just restart. I'm almost 25 at this point and I've started an account on fanfiction almost ten years ago. So, I think it's best to just start anew than continue with my old stories. I will be bringing them back, but I'll have them updated for my current skill level in story writing.

I've garnered a fair amount of ideas for stories over the years and I think it was about time to put them to use after a while of being... lazy to be honest. I've written some short stories, but never really completed them. That's honestly a problem of mine; once I start a story, I never really finish. I don't know why. I have how the story plays out in my head, but writing them is... complicated to say the least. I do want to finish a story, but I just don't know what to do for the next chapter after like chapter 1 or 2. But I plan to change that this year. I want to make a full fledged story from start to finish. I thought about doing a series of short stories and drabbles to get me started then just charge in with guns blazing.

Overall, I plan to make a change. I want to start a story and finish it for once. I don't mind if it's long or short, I just want to tell a story. I'll be posting this on all of my current stories that I plan on rebooting someday, so this is more a promise of a change in how I do things. I also think I should try a monthly schedule to make things easier for me. Weekly updates in chapters might be a bit much for a novice like me, but that could always change if the chapter ends up shorter than expected. To those who read my stuff in the past, I want to tell a story and make improvements on it as I go along. Though I originally did this for fun when I was fifteen, so I might just do some short stories on the side to ease up the pressure I might unintentionally put on myself.

That's all I have to say and I hope every one of you has a happy 2020. Farewell till then.
