First Homestuck story written by me ^^ And first time writing in second person too, so please, tell me where I can improve :3

Gunshots ring out as you jumped away from Noir. The bullets didn't seem to have an effect on the human-bird-dog hybrid as he advances on you again. Jade ceases her firing and you raise your red sword, hoping to fend him off long enough for Jade to start firing again. You leap forward, hacking and slashing at Jack.

"Dave!" Jade shouts, giving you enough time to leap to the side before she fires her green gun. Multiple alternate-Daves assist you now, and charge at Noir. You can't keep fighting him like this. Jack lashes out at you, catching you across the face. You're able to land on your feet, but end up back-pedaling, trying to catch your balance. Shit shit shit. You raise your sword and deflect his claws, realizing that he's trying to trap you, pin you against the wall of vines. His lips are peeled back in a dog-like sneer and his onslaught becomes fiercer. You're barely able to hold off his attack any longer when…

AUTO-HARLEY!

Jade is standing in front of you, protecting you from any further attacks. Noir has stopped just in time, or he would've hit Jade. Something changes in his face, as he backs off, lowering his arm. Jade takes advantage of his hesitation and fires round after round at Jack. You sit back, catching your breath and letting Harley take care of Jack for now, though you never lower your guard.

But something was different with Noir. He seemed to have a green hue around him. Jade's bullets seemed to be hitting him to. Almost like he was absorbing them…

That's when the first bullet hits you. Then another. And another. Jade keeps firing and her bullets go through Jack into your torso.

Your sword clatters to the ground, and your body trembles with the impact of the bullets. Noir seems to smirk as you began to gasp for air, though it sounds more like gurgling.

Blood runs from your mouth as you gasp and gurgle, choking on your own blood.

Finally you're able to manage words. "J-J… ade…" you gasp, grimacing at how broken and raspy your voice is.

Jade ceases her firing and turns towards you, though you've already fallen to your knees. The world seems to spin, and you can feel yourself falling forward.

"Dave!" Jade shrieks, running forward and catching you in her arms.

You're on the edge of unconsciousness, your vision fading in and out. All you can see is Jade's horrified face. The tears that threaten to fall. But you know that you had to die. You had to go to Derse and help Rose with the Green Sun. You wish you could've explained to Jade that everything will be okay, but you can't. There's no time.

"H-H… ar… l… ey… ki…"

It's too late. Your vision finally fades, and you give one last shuddering breath before you lose grasp on the world of the living and slip into an eternal sleep.
