Epilogue

Together forever

Kagome's POV

The rising morning sun brought me out of my dream filled sleep, yawning I sat up stretching out all the cramps from the night. I gave myself a few moments to get the

rest of the sleep out of my system. I got up from bed quietly, trying my best not to disturb Inuyasha. I made my way from the bedroom to the make shift kitchen area. I

started to get breakfast ready for the whole family that would soon be rising from a nights rest. Not long after I got the first batch of rice cooking Kohana came in,

rubbing her eyes. "Morning." She said. "Morning sweets, did you sleep well?" I asked her as I cut up some veggies.

Kohana came and stood beside me, grabbed a pepper and started washing it, readying it for me to cut up. "Not bad, would have been nicer to sleep in for once." I

couldn't help the small laugh. "You have always been an early riser, even when you were a baby." I told her. Kohana smiled. "Guess some things never change huh?"

we fell into a silence, her washing the fruits and veggies, me cutting them up and adding them to the pot. "I think I can honestly say that I miss the sugar covered

cercal in the room." Kohana said as we waited for the stew to cook. I nodded my head In agreement. "It was sure a lot easier to feed all you guys, the down side was

that it had so much sugar in it you kids were so wired up."

A moment later I was able to hear the sound of feet walking down the fall. Inuyasha came into the kitchen sniffing the air. "Smells great!" He said then came over to

me. "Morning honey." He said as he gave me a kiss on the lips. "Morning." I replied. He bent down on his knees and placed his hands on my large stomach. "Morning

baby, I hope you let mommy sleep last night." I laughed and pushed Inuyasha's hands off my stomach. It has been five years since I came back to be with Inuyasha

since then we have gotten married and now adding another member to the family. Thankfully this time it was only one kid, not like the surprise we got last time when I

delivered four kids. I snapped out of my haze and turned to Kohana. "Will you please go wake up the rest of your siblings? Breakfast will be ready in about 5 minutes."

I asked her.

Kohana nodded then left. "I hope you slept well." Inuyasha said as he came over and out his arms around me. "Yeah, I slept well." I told him. "Good." He said in reply

then started kissing my neck. I giggled and leaned into him. "Gross, I do not need to see that first thing in the morning." Inu said from the door way. I broke away from

Inuyasha and turned to face the rest of the kids. "Good morning, I hope you had a good night's rest, after breakfast we have a lot work to get done." I told them. I

could hear them all groan, they all came grabbed their bowl and started to eat their breakfast. I sat down with mine thinking back to the day I finally returned to the

place where I belong.

I had been so stressed over the worry I had for my kids. They were all in the feudal era. Only Kami knew why. Mama had finally settled me down on the couch, it took

her a while to get me to stop pacing and running to the well house every minute. Mama had just given me a tea when I felt something; my spiritual powers picked up

on whatever it was. I waited a moment thinking my mind was playing a trick on me. A moment later it was there again only this time it was bigger. I placed my tea

down and ran to the well house. As soon as I reached it, it was a glow with a bright blue light. I threw open the door and ran down the stairs, the light dimmed

allowing me to fully see.

I looked down into the well and noticed the sky on the other end. I gasped and placed a hand over my heart. Was the well finally open? "Kagome?" I heard mama say

behind me. I turned around to meet her. "Mama, its open." I told her. Mama spun me around to face her. "Kagome, you belong there. Know that I love you, I will miss

you dearly." Mama said as she started to cry. "I love you too Mama." I said as I hugged her then I gave one last look before I jumped into the well leaving behind my

home. That's how I came to be here today, having a wonderful husband and a wonderful family.

When I first came back Inuyasha had told me what he had to do in order for me to come back. I was so shocked that he gave up his demon side just to have me back.

I was so relieved to find out that he did not lose his powers; he didn't have to lose a part of him to have me back. He was still the man I fell in love with, a half-demon.

After we were all finished and cleaned up, we headed out into another day. For Inuyasha and me, it was another day we were spending together, another one of

many to come.

Forever Longing has come to an end.

I want to apologize for a few things, first is that I am so sorry I have not updated in a while, I have finally gotten and job and am working a lot of hours! I honestly had no enegry to write anymore. Second, I want to say sorry for my grammer, I know its not the best, I am trying to best to get it up to par. Its hard when you didn't learn the proper way in the younger grades, you tend to carry the habits with you as you grow up, again i am sorry for that.

Other than that i hope you all enjoy the story. Thank you to everyone who reviewed, you helped me to continue on with this story.
