A/N: Another long wait. I'm sorry. I don't know why, but it takes a lot to write Naruto. This is my biggest hit. Maybe it's the combo of Naruto ending and the amazing stuff happening in games lately. Anyway, enjoy. I think for this, I won't focus too much on Team Kakashi. I think you guys get it.

Training Ground Three:

The first to arrive was Karui at the clearing in training ground three. She had been there for almost an hour before Yakumo arrived. As Yakumo walked up, she saw Karui leaning against a tree, with her eyes closed and her arms crossed. She scoffed and kept walking with her head held up in a superior fashion.

"How long have you been here?" She asked with a low tone interest. Karui did not answer. She just kept her eyes closed. "What, too good to talk to me?" Nothing. "Well, I'm the one who shouldn't be talking." She said as she stopped in the center of the clearing. "I come from an honorable clan, I actually have a brain as you have a moth floating around between your ears, I have a future and you will probably be a washed up kinoichi in two days." There was still no reply even after Yakumo's rant.

That was when Karui slightly opened her mouth. Yakumo stared intensely in anticipation. Then, Karui snored loudly. Yakumo at first had a dumbfounded expression, but she then scowled and began to grit her teeth. She took out a shuriken and threw it to right above Karui's forehead. The thump of the throwing star woke her up with a snort. She slowly looked up tiredly and freaked.

"Son of a bitch!" Karui exclaimed as she ducked and moved to the left. She scanned for whoever threw it and found Yakumo with a cocky smile. Karui nearly blew a blood vessel. "I'll kill you!" Then Karui jumped Yakumo...

Training Ground Five:

Sasuke was the first one there. A while after that was when Sakura arrived, who was trying to score points with Sasuke. But, she was nothing more than a fly to him. Thirty minutes after that was when Naruto arrived. He was yawning and it was clear had just waken up.

"You're late Naruto." Sakura commented.

"Yeah, yeah." Naruto said as he waved his hand. "So, where is Kakashi-sensei?" He inquired. Sakura shrugged.

"He hasn't shown up yet." She answered.

"This is when he asked us to be here, right?" Naruto asked.

'Still can't believe he is an elite.' Sasuke thought to himself in silence.

Training Ground Three – One Hour Later:

Shiho walked towards the clearing, with clear anxiety about today. She was then met with the sight of a bruised Karui and Yakumo tied together and struggling to get free. Watching them was Hayama.

"What happened?" Shiho asked. Hayama sighed before answering.

"I was going to observe your interactions before showing myself, but these two started fighting, and I couldn't let them seriously injure each other."

Shiho looked dismayed. These two were going to be her team mates till they're chunins.

"All of you at attention….well at least Shiho." Hayama commanded. Shiho then got between the two tied up girls. "You can already tell, I'm not your biggest fan. Shiho, you're probably too weak. And you two….." Hayama trailed off as he saw Karui and Yakumo trading dagger eyes. "That's why today is very important. You have to show me what you're made of. You all know how to fight, Shiho at the very least can stand her ground for half a minute." Shiho's sorrow just kept growing. "But, you are worthless at stealth. That's what todays test is."

"Test!?" The three said in unison.

"I burned my books when I got my headband!" Karu exclaimed.

"Well, that was stupid." Hayama said as he walked between them. "Because, I determine whetehr or not you stay shinobi. Your academy sensei's authority ended when I arrived. If I find a single one of you wanting, all three of you will be thrown so back to the academy so fast, you're headbands will spin. And, then quickly confiscated."

"No, that can't be!" Yakumo said.

"Can this day get any worse." Shiho asked herself.

"This is the test, the village will be the testing ground. The objective is to hide from me and make it to the Hokage monument. If I find you, you have to come back here and start over. Any attempt to cheat will be discovered quickly, because I have some off duty chunin assisting me. You have until sunset. And, it starts now." Hayama then disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

Suddenly, Karui and Yakumo were free of their restraints. Karui was the first to jump up and run for the village. It took her five minutes to get there and she booked it through the streets. Today, the little slurs didn't even phase her. She had more important things to do. To avoid any potential view, she zigzagged through alleys and adjoinging streets.

Karui had passed Ichirakue when Hayama appeared. He held out his two thingers and tapped Karui's headband. This caused Karui to fall to her back and slid forward another two feet.

"Karui, go back to the start." Hayama said. Karui groaned, jumped back up, and ran to the original position.

Hayama then looked to a slanted roof. On the other side of it, Yakumo was slowly crawling along the tiles. Then there was a pain at her ankle. She looked back and saw Hayama standing on her ankle.

"Yakumo, back to start." He said. Yakumo cursed herseld and ran back.

In an alley behind him, Shiho was literally tiptoeing by, and then,

"Shiho," Hayama said. Shiho stopped dead in her tracks and didn't even move. "Back to start." Shiho then tiptoed in reverse.

Hayama then looked to the sky, took a deep breath, and exhaled.

"It's going to be a long day."

Anko's Apartment:

Anko was sitting on the couch, while eating dango and watching TV.

'You know,' She thought to herself. 'I probably should have warned Karui that Hayama is a douchebag'.

I hope you enjoyed this. I know I jerk you guys around a bit, and I'm really sorry. The truth is, I have been focusing on my story over at fictionpress. It's called Purge: Corruption Dies. My penname is the same. Please go by and review if you get the chance.
