So this is a quick one-shot that's been in my head for a long time but I just haven't had time to write it down. Hope you like it!

Disclaimer- I don't own anything. But the NCIS video game, it is amazing.

Gibbs was in a foul mood which wasn't unusual. Anybody who knew him could tell you that he was often grumpy and sleep deprived. It was in his job description. This week naval crime was unusually high and he'd just been handed another case. So now he had two cases and an already overworked team. And it was only Wednesday.

Gibbs strolled into the bullpen with a cup of coffee, his eighth of the morning. "Wake up!" He shouted to his team. Not that he blamed them for sleeping. He'd gotten less than three hours of sleep in the last two days. "Grab your gear, we got a dead body."

Ziva jolted awake and proceeded in gathering her gear like she'd never fallen asleep.

McGee got up more slowly, rubbing his eyes and stumbling while trying to get into the elevator before it closed.

And Tony didn't wake up at all. He didn't even stir. His legs were propped up on the desk and his head was leaning on the back of his chair. He looks very peaceful, Gibbs thought, too bad he'd have to interrupt whatever pleasant things he was thinking about.

Gibbs stopped in his tracks and gave Tony's body an exasperated look. "Ziva, wake him up! And don't injure him. I need him; everyone's just about ready to drop dead from exhaustion." Gibbs called over his shoulder.

"I'll try." Ziva muttered, knowing it was hard to wake Tony up when he was in deep sleep without inflicting some sort of physical pain.

She walked behind his desks and contemplated how to approach the problem without injuring him. She hit his head which was unsuccessful since he was leaning on the chair. She shook his shoulder and said, "Tony, wake up. Gibbs is waiting," but that just sent his head rolling to the side.

Ziva straightened up and then an idea struck her. Maybe intense pleasure would work.

She bent down and pressed her soft lips against his. She kissed him slowly and he immediately began kissing her back. When she was certain he was up Ziva gently pulled away.

Tony slowly opened his eyes. Still half asleep he said dreamily, "You kiss like an angel."

Ziva smirked, "Have you ever kissed an angel, Tony?"

"No, but if I did then I bet that's what it would be like."

"Really?" Ziva replied trying to hide the blush creeping into her cheeks. "Gibbs is waiting. We have another case."

Tony groaned and collected his things before he headed for the elevator with Ziva in step behind him. "We should do that more often."

"Kiss or get a case?" Ziva asked carefully, trying to keep things light.

Tony just looked at her.

As the elevator doors opened Ziva replied, "Anytime as long as Gibbs is not around."

Tony grinned down at her. "That doesn't sound too bad."

It's in times like these when a person really could use a review. Quarterly exams stink. Make me feel better ;)
