Tears were falling in uneven intervals down her cheeks as she walked faster away from the lot where HE left her. Growing up with two older brothers, a mother and step father that didn't give a hang about her had made her reject her feelings. However at times like this there was no better way to express her feelings than tears.

Getting to the park she sat down and put her head in her hands and just let the tears flow.

The day had started out pretty good. She left the house before her mom and step dad got into it. Next she had started looking around for Ponyboy.

When she first met him, she fell pretty hard. He was hot, sexy and just amazing and she wanted him, bad. She though that he had felt the same way, with how nice he had been to him, however she had it all wrong.

When she found him, he was in the lot kicking a foot ball around and kept looking around like he was waiting for someone. Walking up to him, she smiled and they talked for a few moments when she asked him out on a date. He looked kind of stunned for a moment then told her hell no.

Well ok, maybe she was just trying to make him look like an ass, when really he wasn't. He was nice about it and said no, really politely saying he wasn't interested in her. Just after he had told her no, Tim's friend Dally walked up and called over to Ponyboy, making the teen look at him and smile. He called out his greeting and said goodbye to Angela and left with him.

Wiping her eyes she tried taking a deep breath only to cough.

"Damn it," She said, sniffling.

"Are you ok?" A voice said, making her jump.

Looking up there stood a guy who was wearing a black shirt, jeans and a jean jacket.

"What's it to you?" She said, a little harsh but she wasn't in the mood to be hit on, even if he was cute.

"I don't like seeing pretty girls cry," He said, sitting down next to her.

She looked at him and moved her black ringlet hair over her shoulder and looked at him, trying to figure out where she had seen him before. He was ruggedly handsome, his long black hair almost falling over his dark eyes. There was a scar on his cheek that looked rather old, but not years, maybe just one or two.

"You're Angela, right?" The male said, looking at her.

She furrowed her eyebrows and nodded, then it hit her.

"Johnny," She gasped.

He nodded and gave her a smile that made her blush a little.

"Took you long enough," He smiled again.

"Well you look a lot different than the last time I saw you, what are you doing out here anyway, shouldn't you be with the asshole,"

"Asshole?"

"Ponyboy," She stated.

"He's on a date,"

"But I saw him leave the lot with Dally, wait a second,"

"Their going to kill me," Johnny hit himself in the head.

"I won't tell, I guess that explains why he said no to me,"

"If he wasn't, he'd be stupid not to say yes to you,"

She blushed again, brushing away more of her tears.

"You don't mean that,"

He slid forward and took her face in his hands.

"I don't like to lie," He said, wiping away the tears that were still falling.

"Why can't I find a nice guy that is this nice to me,"

"What do I look like, chopped liver?" Johnny smiled.

"No but," He squeaked lightly as he pressed his lips to hers.

She just started to kiss back, when he pulled back and smiled at her.

"Now no more tears pretty eyes,"

"Only if you kiss me again,"

Who could refuse a request like that?
