The hunger in him was growing. It was tight, gripping at his throat and stomach, and it sent waves of nausea through him. Dexter needed this. To kill again. To return to his dark ways. To let the Dark Passenger back in.

It was an inevitable turn. He could see that now. The time he spent trying to be Daddy Dexter, perfect father to Lily Anne, and Cody and Astor was past. It was time for his true self to come out and play. It was time for Revenge, with a capital "R".

It was time Dark Dexter finally fed his hunger.
