"Okay!" He then started running in circle around Jade's legs.
"Hey, hey, hey" Jade says trying to catch him. "Gotcha!" She grins as she stood up with him in her arms.
"Got me!" He giggles loudly.
"I probably shouldn't of fed you those many ice-cream." She says as she positioned him properly in her arms. "Right! Promise not to tell mom?"
"Promise!" He nods enthusiastically.
"Atta boy. Let's go home" she started walking toward the car that was parked on the side of the road.
"I wuve you Jadie." Preston says hugging Jade by the neck.
The dark haired girl swallows tightly as she felt happy tears sting her eyes. "I love you too buddy." She smiles ruffling his hair as she finally reaches the car.

Alex was aware that she was sleeping however she could still hear a faint sound in the distance, some sort of ringing noise which was getting louder the more she forces herself to wake up and when she did she noticed she was alone, both Mitchie and Esmee weren't there they probably woke up already she took noticed of the time on her alarm clock that flashed bright letters and it read 7:35pm. "whoa, this late." She mumbles before remembering what woke her in the first place and she spotted it where Esmee was last sleeping now it was empty, safe for her phone. She quickly snatches it up and answered without looking.
"Hello?" She yawns tiredly running a hand through her wild hair.
"Alex..." A voice says so quietly chilling Alex almost to the bones as her stomach twists!
"Tori? Hey, what's wrong?"
"There's been an accident. Preston is hurt."
And Alex felt her whole body go cold with that single sentence. Not her little boy.
