A/N: I couldn't help myself. This site is disprived of any Deker/Jayden. Also, there wasn't a hole lot of fanfictions with Deker was a good guy, most had him being a baddie. So Enjoy! Disclaimer: You know the drill, I own nothing what so ever.

The smell of the sea filled your nose as you got closer to the cliff where he fell. Once there you looked around to make sure no one else was there. Letting the dam break inside your head, you collapsed to the ground crying. Whispering his name, you thought of the first thing you saw him and how you knew he instantly had your heart in his tan hands. Remembered of the time you almost told him of your feelings.

It was after the bride kidnapping incident, you found him standing on the shore. He asked you with his cold, hostile voice what did you want, but you said nothing and looked around. Your thoughts drifted to your attraction to him, wondering if you should tell him or not. Looking back to him, you opened your mouth, but no words came out. He asked you if something was wrong. Deciding to not tell him, you shook your head and left. After you left, you knew you made a mistake. Going back, you found that he was gone. You still regretted not telling him.

Then the incident with Robish, how you started to wondered what side he was truly on. When he stopped the Scottish Nighlok, you first thought that he was on the rangers' side, but then the fight turned into a three way fight. You realized that he was on his own side. You always hoped he would be on your side, but the hoped shattered when he fought in the this battle. No one knew, but you silently cried that night.

Soon, you didn't know how to feel about him after the Tengen Gate kidnapping incident. Should you be angry with him for the kidnapping or sorry for him about the fact he has no choice on fighting. You were so confused, you hate it. You worried that the next time you see him along with the rangers, a fight may begin.

Now, he's gone. You never told him that you loved him. There was nothing you could do, he couldn't be saved. All you could do was watch as he fell from the cliff. More tears flowed down your face. You whispered, "Deker, I love you." Suddenly, you remembered something. Uramasa. Looking up, you surveyed the area to see if you could find the broken half that landed on the cliff. For some odd reason, it was gone. Strange, the fight was only an hour ago. You didn't see anyone take it.

Something broken behind you, you froze. Footsteps came closer until the figure was right behind you. Slowly, you stood without looking behind you. You shivered from the person's breath running down your neck. They shifted and you felt them leaned toward up until their mouth way near your ear.

"Is that the truth, red ranger?" they whispered. You spun around until you saw him. He was soaked. Looking down at his hand, you saw the two halves of his sword in it. You felt tears pool in you eyes, looking back at him.

"Yes," you whispered as he broken the space between you and him.
