River hobbled over to the nearest pilot seat and collapsed onto it with a heavy sigh.

"Right," The Doctor bounced around the console, twiddling dials and tugging on leavers as he sent them into the vortex. "I think it's time I implemented Rule 87."

"What one's that again, Sweetie," River asked absentmindedly as she unlaced her boots.

"Rule 87 is quite possibly the most important one of all and you've forgotten what it is, haven't you?" He shook his head and knelt on the glass floor to carefully examine the darkening bruise on her ankle. "Rule 87: Kiss It Better"
