S-Class Nerds

"Fate hurry up it's starting!" Nanoha shouted from the bedroom.

"Coming!" Fate yelled back. She was impatiently tapping her foot against the floor while watching the bag of popcorn cook in the microwave. "Nanoha you want a beer? We have a couple left in the fridge!"

"Sure! And you're missing the recap!"

"Just make sure you don't forget to record this time!" The microwave beeped and Fate grabbed the bag and dumped its contents into a large bowl. She grabbed the two beers and gracefully balancing all of her items, she quickly made it to the bedroom joining her wife on the bed. "Here you go babe. Now what did I miss?"

Nanoha took a sip of her beverage. "Well it was mostly recap of last week's episode."

"I just hope Sora and Natasha actually fight this time. Ending on that cliffhanger last time was torture."

Nanoha laughed. "It's the buildup honey. Besides do you remember the conversation between Natasha and her mother last time? I think she's gonna try and get her to kill Sora."

"Well I just want to see the fight. That little scene last time of Sora training with Juliana easily foreshadows something cool. Also the fact that she seemed completely confident despite what Natasha can do makes me think she learned something big."

"Well I'm not a fan of Natasha's mother all. I hate parents who try to use their kids as ego mobiles."

"Yeah I agree," said Fate. "But Natasha isn't a saint either. You saw how she killed those guys that were trying to rob her? With her powers she could have easily just scared them away or warded them off easily but she took it a step farther and killed all three. Even impaled that one guy on the ice spike. She's got some underlying issues despite how whimsical she acts."

"I think she's kinda sexy actually," Nanoha said shoving a handful of popcorn into her mouth."

"Oh so that's what gets you going huh?"

"Don't get jealous now Fate. I just think she's kinda hot. That whole ice queen thing combined with the russian accent."

"But she's not an ice queen."

"I didn't mean personality wise. I meant her literal ice powers."

"Uh huh."

Nanoha gave Fate a playful push. "Don't be jealous silly Fate. Besides I remember how you reacted to Audrey."

"Well that's completely different. I mean that body with that attitude and not to mention that sexy scottish accent? I had to change my pants after that episode."

"I'm interested in the conspiracy with Sora's parents though. You saw when she found that box of stuff in her aunt's basement that had the insignia of the Order on it."

"Nanoha we already know that her mother worked for the Order. Her aunt said so. What's more interesting is her dad. He has the same last name as Neru and Avery; Housen."

"Well there doesn't seem to be anything special about Sora aside from the fact that she's Alistair's daughter."

Fate lay back on the bed. "She's the main character though babe. I'm sure we'll find out something in time. But did you see that sword though?"

"You mean the one displayed in her aunt's house. Sora's mom's sword right?"

"Yep. Now THAT was a sick looking blade."

"You would be into that Fate." Nanoha lay down next to her placing the bowl of popcorn between them. Still not gonna thank me for getting you into the series?"

"Alright you win. At first I wasn't crazy about it but after a couple of episodes I was hooked too."

"Oh I think they're about to fight!" Nanoha said sitting up quickly.

"Good. We've been chatting throughout most of the episode."

"Well they've done a little fighting already. But I want to see what all Natasha can do with her ice abilities. We've only seen her do that shield of snow and just making things out of ice."

"I wanna know how Sora is gonna beat her," said Fate.

"She might not."

"No, they wouldn't be hyping up this fight between them unless Sora was gonna win. Besides out of everyone Natasha has fought so far only Neru given her trouble and he still lost. Now Sora is gonna be the one who beats her just watch."

"She probably learned some of Juliana's stuff too you know. Juliana also said that that super speed technique she did wasn't hers."

"Oh right! She said someone taught her that didn't she? Now we know Juliana is strong but if someone taught her they must be really strong. I mean on a whole different level strong."

Nanoha laughed again.

"What's so funny?"

"Listen to us sitting here like a couple of nerds talking about our favorite series."

Eating another handful of popcorn, Fate nodded in agreement. "We are officially part of the fandom now. By the way you remembered to hit record at the beginning right?"

"Yes Fate it's recording now. I'm not an idiot."

"I didn't say you were an idiot. It's just that you forget things."

Nanoha threw a few pieces of popcorn at Fate.

"Don't waste the popcorn!"

"Then stop saying embarrassing things about me!"

"Oh shit look! They're fighting!" Fate pointed excitedly at the TV.

Both of them eagerly turned their attention to the show again. Completely caught up in the action, the two of them were glued to the TV as Vivio trotted past their room to the kitchen with Snowflake in tow. She reached into a cabinet and after feeling around for a bit, pulled out a box of cookies.

"They still haven't found my stash," she said grinning.

The puppy barked excitedly while pawing at Vivio's leg.

"Ok but no telling mom or Fate that I sneak you sweets." Holding a cookie out above the puppy's head she waited until Snowflake jumped snatching it out of her fingers. "Good girl!"

A sound caught her attention and she looked up to see both Nanoha and Fate standing side by side in front of her.

"H-hi guys. I was just umm...getting a late night snack? I thought you were watching your show?"

"We recorded the episode," Fate said holding up the remote.

"I'm in trouble aren't I?" Vivio asked nervously.

"Depends," said Nanoha. "Those chocolate chip cookies?"

"Yeah?"

"Hand em over."

"O-okay?" Vivio handed Nanoha the box. She and Fate then both turned and headed back into their room and closed the door but before Fate made a 'I'm watching you motion' with her hand.

Snowflake nudged Vivio's leg and whined. "I know girl. Shaken down by own mother. It's amazing I'm not in therapy."

Tried to do something funny with this one. The idea literally just came to me last night lol. I really like the idea of being a huge fan of something along with my significant other and nerding out over it together like a couple of dorks. Anyways please enjoy and review!
