He awakes when the creature slithers in through his ear, and only has a moment to struggle, to claw at the sheets, before it calms his muscles and pushes his brain back towards unconsciousness.
Hush, the Yeerk in his head says. We're here to help.
No, he thinks, before the blackness swallows him.
oOo
It wakes him in the morning, throwing the sheets recklessly away and digging through his bag for a schedule.
Dalton Academy, hm? Nice place. And-oh. Boyfriend. That's going to be, how should I put it, complicated.
Don't you dare touch him, Kurt thinks.
I will.
oOo
Hey, Blaine," the Yeerk calls, quickening his pace. "I've been looking for you."
"Yeah?" Blaine says, turning to face him. "What for?"
"This," the Yeerk says, and presses his lips against Blaine's.
Kurt screams in rage inside his head. He can't believe this is happening to him.
oOo
It releases him, and he starts to quietly hum the notes to Defying Gravity as they force him into a cage.
He's regained his voice, at least for a little while.
But it's not enough time. As soon as the Yeerk is done feeding, they drag him to the edge of the pool and push his head down towards the slime. He fights it every moment, but the Yeerk still climbs into his ear with the same shiver of disgust every time.
Wait for next time. Then I'll be able to sing again.
For a little while.
