She's in pain, that much is obvious. Gajeel mutters a few choice curses as he helps her up. The blue-haired girl giggles at him and insists that it's just a cut, nothing more than that. The Dragon Slayer ignores her and checks Levy over for any larger wounds. He wonders why she's such a klutz in the kitchen.
She's angry, that much was obvious. Gajeel swears loudly and tries to take back his words. Levy scowls at him but can't hold her anger for long. He just looks so silly, trying to apologize and not apologize at the same time. She calls him cute.
She can tell he's embarrassed. It was obvious. The Dragon Slayer looks annoyed and the bluenette knows him well enough to tell it's his way of blushing. Lilly's the only one who can get away with calling him pet names (which she doubts will ever happen but hey, Lisanna came back from the dead). With the thought of the cat in mind, she wonders aloud where the Exceed could be as they walk out the door.
They argue as they walk into the guild. Lucy and Natsu are quick to intervene, the blonde dragging Levy off to look at some new books while the Fire Dragon Slayer tries to initiate a fight with Gajeel (needless to say he's successful and they beat the crap out of each other). As they move towards opposite sides of the room, they glance back at each other.
Levy smiles.
Gajeel smirks.
And Pantherlilly watches from his place beside Charle and Happy.
"Told you," he says to Charle, making the white furred Exceed frown as she handed him a wad of cash.
They're in love and everyone can see it. However, it's still fun to make bets with each other about whether or not the rumors are true. Lilly's making the most money though. After all, he does live with them.
He sees Gajeel whispering in her ear at dinner. He sees the Levy giggles and blushes. He sees the way he'll surprise her with a kiss (one rougher than he intended, but that's okay) and the way she melts in his arms. They're in love, that was obvious.
