This is semi-autobiographical and all silly.

Disclaimer: While I enjoyed wearing the Couple's Mask everywhere, I don't own it or anything else.

When Link helped Anju and Kafei marry, they gave him a mask to commemorate their marriage. After Link went back in time to save Clock Town, he began wearing the mask everywhere in celebration. Unfortunately, the reactions he got were less than thrilled for the mystery couple.

Kafei

When Link showed Kafei is Couple's Mask to give him hope for the future, Kafei blushed. "Ahhh, Green Hatted Boy? I pledged myself to Anju." Kafei shooed a very confused Link from his hidden room and locked the door after him.

Anju

Link walked into the Stock Pot Inn after he saw the Mailman leave. Anju was standing at the counter, hand to her mouth, reading a letter. Link walked up to the counter and waited for her to notice him.
"May I he…l…p…you?" she trailed off as her eyes took in the mask. "I'm sorry; I, ahhh, just got a letter from my beloved. I'm promised to another."
Link blinked. "I have a reservation."
"Oh! Your mask threw me off for a moment. Mr. Link?" Anju nervously handed Link the key and he left the Inn.

Romani

When Link went to the Romani Ranch to get some milk, he wore his favorite mask. Romani giggled when she saw him wearing it. "Grasshopper, I'll have to ask my sister first."

That night, Romani brought Link to meet Cremia. She smiled when she saw Link.
"Well isn't that adorable."
Romani tittered, "He's cute!"
Cremia shushed her sister. "So stranger, did you come from town?"

Happy Mask Salesman

When Link went into the Clock Tower to show the Happy Mask Salesman his new mask, the Happy Mask Salesman smiled. He smiled widely. "Hehehehehe. That's not the mask I want. It is a very nice mask though."
Link's eyes widened when Tatl explained what the Happy Mask Salesman meant and as he ran screaming from the Clock Tower, he vowed to avoid the man as much as possible after that.

Bombers

The youngest Bomber stared at Link. "My mom and dad have a mask like that."
Realizing that he would have to take the mask off to visit the astronomer's tower, Link unhappily took off the Couple's mask.
"What's the password?" the Bomber asked.
"…"

Link put his mask back on and took out his bow. He'd forgotten the password.

Chasing the other Bombers, Link didn't understand why the adults looked so amused. The carpenters spit, but the dancers cooed when they saw him.
"Awww, look at you! Aren't you two just precious?"
Link didn't get it, but for some reason the bomber he was chasing down just gave up and let Link tag him.

Zelda

Zelda ooed and ahhed over the masks that Link brought back from his adventure. He showed her every mask , saving the Couple's Mask for last. When he put it on, Zelda's eyes lit up.
"I've read of that mask. It's amazing. Why don't you go show Sheik what you found?"

Sheik

Link slipped his favorite mask on and gathered up the others. He found Sheik in the hall and eagerly got his attention.
Sheik greeted him before turning around. Once he did and saw the mask, he deadpanned, "Not on your life Hero," and walked away.

Heh, poor Link. Run from the creepy man, run!
