a sip of coffee
a sip of coffee
to calm your shaking hands.
take a sip of coffee
keep calm; remember the plan.
I wonder if he knows?
I wonder if he knows
About the small white packet
I wonder if he knows
As he passes me his jacket
Does he know I'm out to kill him?
slinging it around my shoulders
breathing sweet nothings in my ear
but all these words and terms of endearment
through my fear I can barely hear
Does he know what I'm planning?
he ought to have been more careful
he ought to have known
I really don't want to do this
But no emotion can be shown.
Tear the packet open, that's it.
a few grains in his drink
a few grains in his coffee
a few grains is all it takes
to leave him dead as can be
Is this what I really want?
he walks back to the table
"Sorry, the queue was long"
then his eyes drift to my face
"Sinead, is there something wrong?"
I can't tell you, even if there is.
another sip of coffee
and he's lying on the floor
you take another sip of coffee
then you're walking out the door
Now, that wasn't all that difficult, was it?
A/N: Not one of my best works, in my opinion. This is basically about Sinead being sent to murder someone –I'm not very sure who that 'someone' is – and she killed him by poisoning his coffee. Not very realistic, I know, but I just...y'know. /shrugs
Review, please? :)
