Hey guys :) I'm sorry I haven't posted a story for SO LONG, but here it is :) This is my second ShikaTema story and I am proud of it's shortness :D This is for chibiver, who dedicated a Chapter 32 for me on her AWESOME story 'Intertwining Fate'. Read it. It's AWESOME XD Also, this is for Shikamaru, who's birthday was on the 22nd. Belated, Shikamaru-kun ^^

Two Words

After a hard day doing mostly paperwork, Shikamaru and Temari would go to the place where they usually would when they wanted to relax and take all their stress out. The rooftop of the academy.

When they got there, Temari was surprised that when she sat down, the man before her didn't. Instead, he knelt.

"You're not going to look at the stars?"

He sighed. "Temari, I don't think this is working out for me."

"What are you talking about?"

"You know… Our relationship right now."

Temari got tense. Was he trying to break up with her or is he REALLY breaking up with her? What did she ever do? Maybe she punches him too much, but he doesn't complain when she does that. He would always mutter the word 'Troublesome' and scratch the back of his head. Or maybe… he was seeing someone else? Like Ino? Probably not. She knew she was with Kiba one-hundred person, unless… SHE WAS CHEATING ON HIM? If her predictions were right, she'd tell Gaara, who was the Kazekage to declare war with Konoha.

"D-Do you like someone else now?" were the only words she could produce.

"No."

"Then why?" She didn't know why but she felt tears rolling down her cheek.

"I-I don't want to be your boy friend anymore." he said. "I-I want to continue our relationship as… as…"

"Just get to the point already!"

"Marry me, Temari."

So… So he didn't really want to break up with her? He just wanted to make their relationship go to the next level and that would be… as husband and wife. Temari was awestruck, so she slapped him. HARD. "I-I got two words for you, Nara."

He sighed. "I bet she's gonna say something like "F*ck you or whatever."

.

"I do." She then hugged him and they both fell on the boy's back.

Shikamaru smiled, but immediately frowned when he felt a ping of pain on his cheek. "What the hell was that for, woman?"

"Don't you DARE do that to me ever AGAIN, Nara!" she said. "I thought you were breaking up with me."

He hugged her close and kissed her forehead. "I will NEVER break up with you. I-I love you, Temari."

"I love you, too, you ass."

So? How'd you like it? :) It may be short, but you have to admit, it's NIIICE :D
