Kiss

by PostLifeSyndrome

It was soft and sweet.

Allen felt troubled no longer, as all of the pent-up emotion flowed into the person he held in his arms. The crisp morning air chilled him through his uniform, but the heat of her body, lips, and hands kept it from bothering him. He tightened his grip around her waist, and he felt her shift closer.

He heard her moan. It wasn't a sexual noise, just...satisfaction. He loved it. Almost as much as he loved the girl who had her arms around his neck. He felt the silky deep green hair brush against the side of his face, but his eyes stayed shut. After all, it was rude to open one's eyes while being kissed. He knew that he loved her, and that she loved him.

Gently, he slid his human right hand up to the back of her head, leaving the hard, sharp, and mutated left at her waist. Slowly and carefully, he slid his gloveless fingers into her hair. She moaned once more, appreciatively, and copied him. Her fingers were long and soft, but he was more focused on her lips.

It was a perfect moment.

Then, they broke apart to breathe.

She smiled at him, and he knew that this was better than any memory that a normal life might have given him.
