Inuyasha looked around, pausing when he thought he heard footsteps or could smell Kagome coming nearer. Eventually he gave up and just sprinted into the woods. There stood Kikyo, smiling, her arms held open.

But Kagome had seen, and when she stalked back to the clearing, she grabbed Koga's face and pulled him down for a long kiss. Miroku and Sango stood, wide-eyed, as all this went down. And then Kagome started to sing, loudly and angrily, the music coming from somewhere far away.
