Godstiel forgive me! I just had to!
Seriously, guys, I have no idea. I just. Don't. This came out of nowhere, like seriously. I just thought of Cas and perfume because my Daisy perfume smells SOOO good. xD Forgive the shortness and any OOC moments, this is purely fluff.
Dean glanced up to see Sam enter the room, arms laden with shopping bags. Castiel followed close behind, a curious expression on his face as he regarded his wrist, which was pressed up against his nose.
"How'd it go?" Dean asked from the bed, tossing the TV remote away haphazardly. Sam grinned, shoving the bags into the tiny bathroom.
"You'll see in a few minutes!" Sam called, shutting the door to take the tags off of Cas' new clothes. Now that Cas was spending his time with Dean and Sam on earth, they'd decided he needed a new wardrobe- especially if he was going to be helping them out. The whole giant-tan-overcoat look was just way too obvious.
Dean turned his attention back to Cas, whose wrist was still shoved against his nose. Knowing Cas, Dean steeled himself for the probably awkward answer he was going to get from the angel when he asked him,
"Hey, Cas- what are you doing?" Cas looked up, his blue eyes scrunched in confusion, and Dean tried not to laugh. He would sure as hell never admit it, but Cas' confused face was the most damn adorable thing he'd ever seen.
"It smells…nice," Cas replied, and his voice held something between confusion and awe. Dean, however, was completely confused by the unexpected answer.
"Um, what?" He fumbled for words, rising with a concerned expression. Cas wasn't turning into some blood-loving vampire, was he? Crossing the room in a few steps, Dean grabbed Cas' arm, raising the angel's wrist to his nose, not even caring how extremely weird they looked.
He smelled something like daisies, light and flowery.
"What the hell?" Dean couldn't exactly help the obscenity, but Sam still poked his head out of the bathroom to give him a patented bitchface. Until, of course, Sam noticed Dean holding Cas' wrist, and then he started laughing and shut the door again. Dean looked between the bathroom door and Cas, brow furrowed in anger and confusion.
"Cas, what the hell did he do?"
"It wasn't Sam, Dean, it was some woman in the store. She-,"
"She sprayed perfume on a man," Dean interrupted, completely stunned into silence. Once again Cas' head tilted ever so slightly, his blue eyes confused.
Dean couldn't exactly help his laughter, either.
Cas was wearing perfume- and it smelled really good, Dean had to admit- and it totally fit him. The whole situation was just too funny, so he stood there laughing while Cas' lips twitched into an almost-smile. The smile alone was enough to make Dean's day.
"So why did she spray you?" Dean wondered aloud, once he had caught his breath. The bathroom door opened as Sam poked his head out, a smug expression on his face.
"She overheard me talking about how you wouldn't come even though Cas is your angel just because malls are too girly for you," He stated, promptly closing the door as one of the pillows from his bed soared towards his face- along with yet another obscenity.
