Disclaimer; I own nothing!

Just a really short one shot, kind of sweet:-)

Showing that Amy just really isn't good at showing her feelings to those who need to hear it most but mainly thats because right now she's thirteen in this and she just cares about him being her mate, so friendship with an inkling of romance, t'aw:-)

I'm really into writing these as younger people before the Doc came back and stuff, its jolly good fun! :D

I should probably get on with another chapter in my long Rory and Amy fic but that chapters going to be long and i'm a bit stuck so this was a the product of my writers block really:-)

'He's more amazing than any of you!' Thirteen year old Amy shouted back at her bullies.

'Oh yeah why's that then?' A tall girl asked sarcastically, her hair was tied lazily in a high ponytail with most of it falling out, she was loudly chewing on some chewing gum and her hand was on her hip, she wore a smug smile as her friends jeered around her willing her to taunt Amy some more.

'Bec-Because he's smart and he's brave! He's funny and adventurous, all the things you lot will never be, that's why and he's a nice person' the small girl said in a matter of fact tone, facing up to her bullies was one of the many everyday things Amy had to endure.

'Oh look here's your boyfriend!' one of the girls pointed and laughed.

'He isn't my boyfriend' Amelia Pond grumbled before trudging over to him and linking his arm, the girls cooed and cat-called mockingly, she rushed them away from the school gates as quickly as she could with the autumn wind whipping against them.

'Where they tormenting you about the Doctor again?' Rory asked sympathetically.

'No.'

'Amy?'

'They were tormenting me about you stupid face' Amy's Scottish accent always sounded a lot broader when she was angry, Rory couldn't help but smile before registering what she had said, his face blushed scarlet.

'Why about me?'

'Because I'd rather hang out with you over them any day and they don't understand why' she rolled her eyes as they continued walking home.

'Oh….W-well what did you tell them e-exactly? N-nothing bad I hope' Rory smiled hesitantly.

'Nothing bad' Amy gave her most sickly sweet smile before laughing and shouting

'Race ya!'
