She was invisible to her, though she was right in front of her. "Will," Buffy said, bouncing up to her with a smile. "I need a spell."
Willow returned her smile with one of her own that the Slayer would never realize was forced. "I'm your Witch." She always would be.
Buffy would never see her as more than her best friend and loyal ally. She'd never see the steadfast love Willow would always hold for her, but Willow would always be there for her, invisible in the shadows of her love's beautiful glow and loving her from afar forever.
