You may know me as the Oracle of Delphi.

It's not like I mind. The only guy I ever cared about was taken. Percy AND Annabeth. Annabeth and Percy. It sounded perfect, didn't it?

I have my art to occupy me. My paint brushes, colored pencils, charcoal. Drawing and coloring help me forget.

It makes me fall into a whole new world where everything goes as I planned. Or close to it, because art has a mind of its own.

I find myself drawing pictures of Percy and ANNABETH constantly. I don't have anything against them. I swear. They're really close friends of mine.

When they're together, it just reminds me that I'll be alone for eternity. I wonder how my dad will take it. He wants me to be a socialite and marry a rich guy, just to perfect the family image.

I have my art. I don't need a guy. But I need someone to be there for me.

To encourage me.

To help me.

To hold me when I cry.

That's why I love Camp Half-Blood. There ARE a lot of people who like me as me, and not the daughter of a rich guy. The campers there are my FRIENDS, my family. It's different at Clarion's though.

The girls there are all fake, like a doll, with their perfect hair and make-up. They're the kind of people who talk about you behind your back without hesitation.

They are fake.

Plastic.

Heartless.

Soulless.

Art is creative, compassionate, unique. None are the same, like snowflakes, which are also art. A lot of things in the world are art. No one realizes it though, because they

Don't.

Care.

I have just decided. I don't need men in my life. All I need is my art.
