"Matt!" a thirteen-year-old Mello shouted from across their shared room.

"What, Mello?" Matt responded like the good friend he was.

"Do you have any gum?"

"Uh… Sorry, I'm chewing my last piece..." the redhead said nervously.

"So? Give it here!"

"Ew! Mels, it's got my spit all over it!"

"Come on!"

"No!"

"Oh, Mattie~" Mello said in a singsong voice.

"No! Seduction will get you nowhere, Mello!"

"Are you sure about that?" Suddenly, Mello was standing over where Matt was sitting, a smirk tugging on his lips. Before Matt could even react, the older boy was upon him, lips crashing with his roughly. Matt opened his mouth to gasp, and Mello darted his tongue in. They wrestled for only a few seconds when suddenly the blond broke off, strutting back across the room. Matt gave him a quizzical look.

"What the hell was that, Mello?" Not that the kiss wasn't nice, but…

Mello simply turned and flicked his tongue out in response, a piece of wintergreen chewing gum sitting in the center. The appendage retreated and Mello grimaced.

"M-Mello! Give me back my gum!" the redhead exclaimed as Mello laid himself out on the couch lazily.

"Gross, wintergreen flavor. Know what? You can have it back." An idea seemed to form in the blond's head and he gave a smug grin. "You're just gonna have to come and get it!"
