Yea, so my rush for this pairing hasn't ended yet, so here's another little story for you! I should really be writing chapters for other stories I have to Update, but you know, when the plot bunnies attack, they freaking attack! And I'm just soo weak...
I'd like to take this chance to thank all you lovely people who reviewed/favorited SNAFU. Made me very very happy. :)
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this as well, just another idea for a story I found lurking in my brain.
Disclaimer- I Claim nothing!
She should have known where these little arrangements ended. Dealing with the devil always turned out horrible. She had already sold her freedom. What else could she loose?
"So let me get this straight. You want me, to help you get Megan to be interested in you?" Artemis repeated as she stared off of the ledge they were sitting on. The place he dragged her to.
She declined at first quick to think he just wanted to trick her into something. Then she took noticed of the two tempting cups of coffee. That's exactly what she needed in these early hours of the day, after a tedious stealth mission. Knowing she'd reconsider, he handed her the deliciously hot drink and smiled.
That's how she ended up here. Enjoying her nice sinful drink while staring off at the sunrise. Or until he asked that question.
Wally furiously nodded his head, not choosing to speak due to the candy bar he was scarfing down.
"I don't know, we're not really on good terms if you haven't noticed. Give me one good reason I should help you."
"Arty, we're frienemies, we help each other when it's for the best! Plus, wouldn't you like to see Megan stop obsessing with Supey?"
She scoffed. She wasn't bothered by that really. Something else annoyed her...
"You mean like how you obsess with her?"
"That's not the point! Just help me out! Please! I won't annoy you like I do! And who knows maybe you'll find out Supey likes you." He practically begged.
"You're really desperate aren't you Baywatch?" She teased ignoring a small pang in her chest. Shifting the coffee in her hands. Somehow it had lost it's appeal to her.
"Not desperate, just in need of some assistance." He quickly corrected chugging down the rest of his drink. With a satisfying sigh, he hopped to his feet and held out his hand. "So what do you say?"
She stared at his stretched out hand. This was it.
She should have known these arrangements never turned out right. She should have remembered the movie she saw where the two friends end up together like this too. Like the anime where two enemies help each other to hook up with the others best friend and they end up in love in the process.
Maybe it was the pleading look in his eyes, or just how nice it had felt to be with him for the past 10 minutes without having to be defensive. Hell, maybe it was just the coffee. What ever it was, all the thoughts she should have been thinking were blocked out and replaced by how soft his hand looked. She let out a sigh as she hesitantly slipped her hand into his, like it belonged there.
"Whatever"
He tugged her to her feet and grinned widely as he cheered while pulling her into a hug. Maybe it would be worth it, she thought resisting the urge to return the friendly embrace. After all she had already sold her freedom to the devil.
What else could loose?
What do you think? Reviews are a writers best motivators :)
Now I have to work on a Video of these two...(When bunnies attack, they fucking attack!). Yes, shameless self-promotion...but if I don't do it, who will do it for me? :O
