Valve owns Portal not me.

Summery: It's snowed outside and Chell wants to go and look around. GLaDOS would rather not. Stuck in Human body!GLaDOS/Chell.

Snow

The two women stood in the doorway of the shack, looking out at the white field ahead of them. A moment later, the blonde woman turned.

"I'm not going in that."

She didn't get very far because the woman in an orange jumpsuit had grabbed her arm and was trying to push her out of the door.

"Let go of me!" She grabbed the frame of the door and halted her momentum into the field. Chell behind her rolled her eyes and finally let go after a moment or two of pushing. GLaDOS turned around and moved further inside the shack.

"I refuse to step foot in that mess." She retorted to Chell's look.

Chell frowned and folded her arms.

"No."

Chell just looked at her and then back over to the door.

"We'll be standing here all day if you're going to try that game." GLaDOS crossed her own arms. The clothes she was wearing were warm enough to block out the cold winter air mostly, but it was still odd feeling. Chell simply continued to look at her. Waiting.

She hated when she did this. After a long moment, GLaDOS glanced over at the door again and Chell finally spoke up.

"You said you'd go out." Her voice was quiet but just as stubborn as her posture.

GLaDOS thought things over quickly. She wanted to go back inside. Sooner rather than later preferably.

"Fine."

She ignored the grin on Chell's face and then walked over to the doorway. Glancing at the snow she sighed and stepped out into the field.

"There I'm out. Can we go back now?"

Chell ignored her, and walked into the snow covered field. GLaDOS just watched as the girl skipped.

"I suppose this must be what 'frolicking' looks like. Another word would be stupid waste of time." She rubbed her arms slightly, standing just barely in front of the shack. Chell tried to wave her foreword but she only received a scowl in reply.

-O-

GLaDOS had resigned herself to the fact that they weren't going anywhere just yet. So while Chell ran around in the snow like a crazy woman…which, GLaDOS scoffed, she was… GLaDOS leaned against the shack and looked out at the field.

It was completely covered in snow and you could see far along the horizon. There wasn't anything out there but snow, snow and more snow. Rather bleak, if you thought about it. Not that she cared. She knew there were other people out there. Chell had gone to one of their stupid human settlements for a while after she'd left.

She ignored the emotions that came with that thought. Or more specifically, pretended they were just frustration that Chell had come back at all.

Those were easier to deal with then the mass of new ones she had to work with now that she ha-

Something cold and wet hit her side and as she stumbled to get her balance back she saw Chell waving at her.

"You..." Chell grinned and then threw another mass of snow at her. GLaDOS frowned and moved as best she could. Just managing to avoid getting hit again. "You misse- What are you doing?"

Chell was leaning down to grab more snow and a moment latter GLaDOS was ducking from another aimed attack.

"You are going to regret this you know…" She trailed off, instead leaning down to gather her own ball of snow. A moment later Chell was running off, as GLaDOS chased after her, snowball in hand.

The fight went on for a fair bit. Chell, managing to sneak up on GLaDOS and hit her from behind, GLaDOS managing to surprise Chell by having amazing skills at snowball making. It stopped when Chell surprised GLaDOS and the two of them ended up in a heap on the ground.

"You're trying to win by squishing me, aren't you?" GLaDOS glared up at the smirking woman on top of her. Chell just shrugged lightly, but didn't move.

"Get off me. This game is stupid, we're going inside."

Chell shook her head and GLaDOS frowned more.

"So what, we'll just sit like this all day? It's cold and wet and I'd like to get inside before Orange and Blu-

Chell leaned down and kissed her, breaking her rant.

"That… is cheating." GLaDOS finally replied when Chell leaned back. "Now get off me"

Chell huffed but in the end, rolled off GLaDOS and landed face first in the snow. GLaDOS ignored her, but somehow ended up giving her a hand up anyway.

"You're going to get sick." She muttered, brushing the snow of Chell's shoulders when they were standing. "And then you'll probably expect me to look after you."

Chell just smiled and some snow dropped of her nose.

"Oh and you managed to get a face full of snow. I always said you were graceful." GLaDOS rolled her eyes as they walked towards the shack. Chell wiping the snow of herself more as they went.

-O-

GLaDOS made them pause to get rid of most of the snow before going onto the elevator. But she was pleased to find that they were soon safe inside the facility again. Elevator moving down. GLaDOS folded her arms and tried to ignore how cold she was now.

"I told you that was pointless."

"You had fun."

Chell spoke up, startling GLaDOS, who had been trying to ignore her.

"I did not."

Chell went back to being silent but smirked as GLaDOS glared at her. It lasted a moment but when they elevator arrived on the floor, she quickly turned away and walked out. Chell following behind her.

"It's was freezing outside. You were probably just trying to kill me again."

She stopped walking as they reached a door.

"Where are we going?" Chell asked as GLaDOS pushed the code into the panel.

"I am going to try and get warm. I don't know what you- Let go of my hand you lunatic." Chell ignored her and pulled her through the large room and into the small living quarters they'd managed to construct in the facility.

"I said let go you-" GLaDOS got her hand free, but mostly because Chell had dropped it. "What." Chell rolled her eyes and then pointed to the bathroom.

"What."

"Have a warm shower." She said, and then after a moment had passed. "That will make you warm."

"I know that." GLaDOS retorted. "You didn't need to drag me over here. I'm perfectly capable of figuring that out on my own, thank you." Chell shrugged and started to take her jacket off.

-O-

GLaDOS still hated showers so she was in and out quickly enough. She was still cold even after she'd gotten dressed, wrapped up in a blanket and wondering why humans had to feel things so strongly.

"You can-" She was about to tell Chell she could use the shower when she was pushed back on the small bed.

"Now what."

Chell flopped down next to her and pulled a blanket over them. She'd already changed into dry clothes.

"Warm?"

GLaDOS looked over at the woman.

"No."

Either that was the wrong thing to say….or perhaps the right thing. GLaDOS was still conflicted, but Chell wrapped her arms around her and moved closer.

GLaDOS didn't move for a moment but then sighed.

"An excellent idea. Using your rather ….excessive…amount of natural body fat to keep warm."

This time Chell was the one to flick her head. But she remained there and after she showed no sign of moving GLaDOS sighed, closed her eyes and was soon fast asleep with the lunatic's arms around her.

Well...at least she was warm now.
