This is just a story on Little Manhattan. I saw this movie on The Disney Channel and I loved it so yeah...

(Nothing's as big as your first love)

Hey it's Gabe here, and it's been almost six weeks since I last saw Rosemary Telesco. I really miss her, but I don't know how to talk to her when she gets home. We'll see each other in karate. Oh I forgot. Tim is there. He is the only thing between me and my first love. I really can't stand him. He and Rosemary both have yellow belts and I'm still stuck with a stupid white belt.

Please remind me what I'm supposed to be doing. Oh yeah, I should be sparring with mustache boy over there. But all I can think about is Rosemary. She's probably going to get back to karate tomarrow. I can't wait for her! And just in time, because school starts in a week.

"Gabe, pay attention, please." said my sensei.

"Y-Yes sir." Why do I always show it when I'm not paying attention? I'm so stupid!

I walked home alone after karate, (1) because Rosemary wasn't there, and (2) because my parents were unpacking from our move. We had just moved a block, but our new apartment was really big. I mean I had my own bathroom attached to my room, and I had my own TV room for my video games! It was awesome! And the best part, I was one block closer to Rosemary's building! Which reminds me, I need to call Rosemary tomarrow. I need to hear her say my name, cause that's what I live for. Pretty pathetic of me. At the beginning of the year, I hated girls and thought they were disgusting. But now, I pretty much never call my friends. Instead I just sit around and daydream about Rosemary. That's a nice spice. Wow, I'm obsessed! Before I realized it, I had walked all the way to my new building and I was in the elevator. Maybe I should pay attention more...

"Honey, what took you so long? I was starting to get worried." My mother said over a pile of boxes.

"I just walked home from karate, that's all." I sighed.

She smiled sympethetically. "I understand, Gabe. Now how about you go and start unpacking your room."

I nodded in reply and walked off to my room. The first thing I did was pull out my yearbook, and look at Rosemary's picture. Only 24 hours until I can see her again.
