Because I just had an idea kjsdnshbsfds -is a stupid one, also short, and did I already said stupid? xD but I was wondering how did the kids manage to name Charles and Erik as 'Professor X' and 'Magneto' xP "

AND, WELL, IT WAS TOO EASY TO RESIST. LOL

"You know, if we all have mutant code-names, shouldn't Xavier and Lehnsherr have 'em, too? They're mutants, and they're the ones who got us all together, so they deserve names," Sane remarks around a lick of frosting from the half-Oreo in his hand. He's raising a ginger brow at the rest of them.

Raven laughs and bobs her head repeatedly. "You're totally right, Sean! And, actually, I've been thinking of one for Charles every since he graduated as a professor… His last name is Xavier, right? Well, I thought he could be Professor X. It's catchy, right?"

"Definitely! It sounds so sexy and mysterious," Angel agrees with a grin. She teasingly brings her straw to her lips from her glass by using her tongue. "All in favor?"

Everyone votes unanimously on the nickname. But Darwin frowns a little. "Erik's is gonna be harder."

"Yeah, I mean, what could we do with that? 'Metal Man?'" Sean says, also frowning, but snorting a chuckle around a mouthful of cookie.

"That is so lame," Alex grunts, reclining backward. "I think you should go with the nature of his powers. You know, something like how he moves and bends metal."

"Charles told me it was done with magnetism for the moving bit; it's what he felt when they met," Raven informs them with a thoughtful touch to her chin with a finger.

"Really?" Hank says, adjusting his glasses. "I mean, I figured as much, judging by the known laws of physics… But that would make him magnetic, wouldn't it?"

"Not really. You don't see all our zippers flying to stick to him, do you?" Darwin jokes, and it makes Sean sputter and choke on his soda.

"Man! Don't make me think of my fly being caught down! That's happened way too much, let me tell you…" Sean grumbles, and Alex laughs and slaps Sean on the back, telling him teasing that it's all right, because at least he wasn't caught with his pants on the floor instead.

Hank pipes up, "Er, well, back to the main topic… I was thinking we could maybe call him Magnus?"

"Nah, not cool enough. Sounds too old," Alex grunts. He sits up fully and leans forward, contemplating. Then: "Why not 'Magneto?' That's just as catchy as 'Prof X.'"

"I love it!" Raven cheers, clapping her hands together once. "All in favor of naming him 'Magneto?'"

"Aye," they say in unison, all hands in the air again.

And so, it's settled: their mentors, their leaders, are officially Professor X and Magneto.
