Summary: Gainel ponders his own inventiveness! (I don't know how else to phrase it. These little drabbles could be summaries in and of themselves.)

Being the Dream King, Gainel was used to solitude. The Great Gods did well by him, but mortals were usually disconcerted by his presence. Some feared him, while others merely scoffed at his power- until he sent along a nightmare to nudge them into some semblance of respect. Compared to the other gods, he considered himself no less powerful, although crippled in aspects they obviously possessed. He smiled his secretive, gentle smile, amused because being unable to speak to mortals in the normal way had forced him to become more... inventive. Creativity was not the strongest suit of many gods.
