I love how you're growing in yourself every day that goes past. Your blond hair looks so nice right now. You've just sat and opened your presents. Toys from Daddy. Mommy's make up. You like the make up. You've plastered Daddy with just about everything. I don't think I've ever seen myself in lipstick.

You've started to understand what Daddy does as a job. Your nurse said it's very rare for children to know what goes on before the age of 4, I'm so proud of it. You pulled off Daddy's hat and muttered to me "Daddy going to kill monsters?" I couldn't help but start crying. I'd do anything for you to know what I did to make sure you could get this far.

1 year, 8 months ago. Daddy fought against Aliens. I made sure the world was safe for you to grow up in. I was the hero who helped destroy Megatron with Uncle Sam? You remember him? You rarely get to see him now because He's in college, but He loves you just as much as I do. I tell you about the Autobots and Decepticons all the time. You love 'hide. He took you to hospital when you fainted a few weeks ago. You always tell Daddy " Hide brought me new toys. Oppimus took me for drive" I love the way you say Optimus and I know he likes it to.

You know, Carly dropped past today. Sam's new girlfriend. You took an instant shining to her when she gave you her and Sam's present. You grabbed her leg "Luff you Unkwle Carwee" Carley laughed. She's so good around children and, I think she's better than Sam's last girlfriend, whatever her name was.

I better wrap this up soon, but God! I have so much to say to you. At the moment, You're munching down on your Unicorn cake. Covered in icing but grinning at me. I hope you don't find these before your twenty. That's when I plan on giving them to you. Waiting till a suitable age, when you're not much of a Daddy's girl. I hope you know how much me and Mommy love you. You brought us back together when we were at our lowest points. Mommy and Daddy were going to live separately if it wasn't for you coming into our lives. Oh geez, I'm rambling again... Oh damn.

Uh, Anyway. I leave for The Helmand Provence with Epps in a few days. I plan on making sure I come home alive . All I want to do is see your smiling face.
