Spring Fever by KibaTemLuvr99

Botan stood outside Genkai's house just looking at all of the beautiful scenery that had blossomed up from the warm weather. The Sakura trees were in full bloom and the Honshu were just barely beginning to bud.

Wondering what the forest looked like now Botan decided to take a walk into the woods. The forest was filled with vibrant colors and sounds, all of the small maple buds were slowly turning into large leaves and the animals were coming out of their burrows. The young dutifully followed their mothers as they taught them how to find food and survive by themselves.

Botan giggled as she watched a pair of young birds flapped their tiny wings trying to get even an inch off the ground,

"What are you laughing about?" She heard an annoyed voice ask from behind her.

"I was just watching those little birds there; aren't they just adorable Hiei?" She asked completely ignoring his sour attitude; he wasn't going to ruin her cheerful mood today with his syndical look at life. She heard a 'Hn' come from his disapproving voice box, turning around she was ready to give him a earful about his behavior as of late when he did the one thing she least expected. He reached forward and grabbed her shirt collar pulling her down to his level before he leaned in and gave her a full-fledged kiss right on the lips.

"Wh-what was that?" Botan sputtered as he let her shirt go.

"Just spring fever that's all." Hiei said before flashing out of sight.
