The Secret of the Bermuda Triangle
I bet you all want to know the secret of the Bermuda Triangle. It's not only because the Sea of Monsters is there. Have you ever thoughts the gods might play a role in this? Well, they do.
Poseidon's underwater palace is situated in the Bermuda Triangle. So that his "Kingdom" is not disturbed, he sinks bypassing ships, making every sailor that has heard the myth go around in a wide arc. Although the ships Poseidon sinks sometimes crash into his palace, he said "It's worth years and years of peace."
Zeus is also very angry with the mortal population. They pollute his skies. So whenever an airplane flies over the Bermuda Triangle Zeus plucks it out of the air and throws it into the sea, like one would throw a rock. Because at the heart of the Bermuda Triangle is a wonderful island, surrounded by the Sea of Monsters. Sometimes people who were in the airplane land on the island and become Zeus's slaves, whether they like it or not. He has picked the Bermuda Triangle as his vacationing spot, and would like to keep it smog-free.
Heroes and other gods aren't permitted onto the island either. They are allowed to pass through the Bermuda Triangle, but not allowed to disturb Zeus and Poseidon. If they do, a punishment will be selected that is so hard and painful it can make Ares cry with pain. Once, Ares landed on the island, and when Zeus and Poseidon were done with him, you could see him hiding under a bench, whimpering like an Aphrodite girl that had just found out that the most famous Chanel store had just closed.
