Namaste, Earthlings! I know, I know, this has been done before, but I wanted to try my hand at it. This is my first fanfic, so don't hate on me. Review or all Hades will break loose. Flames are accepted because it'll just add to the amount of reviews I get (Right?). Also, I'm going to write another fanfic and I need an OC daughter of Aphrodite and a son of (you decide, but no Hermes (That's me)) to be my character's friends. I have the form on my profile, so once you get it filled out, PM it to me or review it right here.
Disclaimer: Me? Own PJO? That's almost as likely as me winning the lotto.
Thalia's Tree
When Thalia became a tree, her first thoughts were peace at last. She was free of everything; responsibility, pain, need, and feeling. Sure, it was kind of boring compared to the rest of her demigod life, but it was worth it. She felt free, which is odd because she couldn't move, but it didn't matter to her. Her mind was always moving.
Thalia spent most of her time as a tree drifting through the dream world. She usually found herself in Annabeth or Luke's dreams, as someone in the background. Once she found herself in one of Annabeth's very puzzling dreams. All that she saw was a blank screen of a bright sea green. Another time, she found herself in one of Luke's dreams. She was next to Luke, and they were falling. Suddenly, the scene changed, and she saw Luke's broken body on a rocky ledge, surrounded by monsters. That dream especially frightened her.
Sometimes, Thalia had her own dreams. Once time, she found herself watching four figures on the porch of the Big House. One was obviously Chiron, but two were unconscious, and even though she couldn't make out their features very well, the fourth looked vaguely familiar. Another time, she found herself looking at a very old ship, around Siren Bay, listening to their songs. Most dreams didn't make much sense to Thalia.
Usually, Thalia knew who's dream she was part of. It was hard to explain, but it was sort of a type of vibe. It was like some force was whispering into her mind Annabeth or Luke, and if it were her own dream, it would be whispering Thalia. Sometimes, though, it wouldn't be whispering anything, and Thalia is left to wonder whose dream she's in.
Sometimes, Thalia actually meets the person whose dream she's in. For example, once, in her dream, she saw a boy about her age, sitting at a desk in an unknown classroom with a coffin in front of them. She called him the first thing that came to her mind and told him to open the coffin. He refused her. She rolled her eyes and proceeded to open the coffin herself, and immediately, she wished she hadn't.
Thalia felt many things when she opened that coffin. The most prominent one was anger, anger at Luke, anger at Kronos, anger at the gods, and most of all anger at herself, anger at herself for not being there to stop Luke. Yet, she also felt happiness. She felt happiness because she thought that she wouldn't have to be there to deal with it. She thought that until she was proven wrong. She thought that up until the day that Percy Jackson placed the Golden Fleece on her tree.
So, what do you think? Should I continue it?Put it in your reviews *hint, hint*! And remember, flames are accepted! I'll be using them to make s'mores. ;)
