…
"WAAAAAAAAHH!"
"…oh come on"
"What?"
"Give it back"
"I… cant."
"WAAAAHH!"
"Nekozawa-kun, look at that face…"
Nekozawa was in the Black Magic Club room with other members and one of them was looking back and forth at the unrealistically cute little girl to Belzenef. Ayame had seen Belzenef and picked him up, which Nekozawa panicked and snatched him up immediately, causing her to cry. She'd been crying for nearly five minutes, which felt more like twenty.
"She was careful with it when she had it" one said, unable to stand her crying, which was a lie, considering how she was biting his ear and tugging on it like a playful puppy.
"But it's Belzenef…"
"Ayame, look!" said a female member, Kurono, shot her hands out and sent sparks from the floor, causing a few members to jump. She stopped crying, somewhat forgetting about Belzenef as he hid it inside his cloak, as to not remind her again and cause anger.
Relief spread among them that she had finally stopped, and when she turned to look for Belzenef she was handed a wand for distraction, a nice new toy.
"I wonder when they'll be here…" said one, Hanshou.
"GIVE AYAME BACK YOU BASTARDS!"
Tamaki burst into the door, with the twins at each of his side ready to pound a child molester. Ayame laughed, smiling and throwing up her arms, knocking the oversized black cloak hood over one of her eyes with her wand in her hand that was being covered by a long sleeve.
"DAYGA!" She shouted, smiling at the three. The rest of the Black Magic club members turned towards the group that looked like they had rehearsed their stance, sweat dropping from each of their hooded heads.
"…You're getting better at that" said Kurono, looking back at Hanshou, referring to his foreseeing ability. He smiled slightly.
"Nekozawa-kun?" The twins said, fists unclenching and dropping by their sides, staring at Ayame, who was kicking her legs excitably from beneath the lengthy fabric and waving her arms, hands still hidden by the sleeves.
"Tamaki, Hikaru, Kaoru, it is a pleasure" He said, bowing his head slightly, "Is that her name, Ayame?"
"Yes…" Hikaru answered, Tamaki too busy blushing with absolute embaresment.
"I see. We weren't sure what to call her- we found her staring up at the chandelier with an unusual interest by herself, and we were worried, so I brought her back here"
"Oh… really?"
He nodded and then Kourono spoke up: "We wanted to make her welcome, so we gave her a cloak. It used to be Kirmi's, but she doesn't like to wear it. You can have it if you'd like" she said, smiling and with her arms motioned to the seats at the table, "Would you like to come in?"
"No thank you we're fine!" Kaoru said, holding up his hands and Hikaru and Tamaki shook their heads vigorously, scared to go in.
"Alright then- are any of you the father?"
"NO!"
"Oh, I just sensed a closeness between you and Ayame," she said, turning back to Ayame who was trying to crawl to them but kept tripping over her cloak, even so she still continued to smile anyway, very happy to see them again and persistently came over, giggling each time she did trip. Kurono's voice wasn't as slow and solemn as Nekozawa but it did have a spiritual aura to it.
"Don't run away again, do you hear us young lady?" Hikaru said, pointing to her sternly as Tamaki held her, seeing her right pony tail undone and put the bow back in. She giggled at Hikaru, drool running off of her chin, before wondering what Tamaki was doing with her hair. She frowned, pulling the band back out easily.
"I guess she can do it on her own" Kaoru said, shrugging.
…
"Right Here" Mori said, handing Hunny his beloved bunny. Everyone stared at Mori shocked- it had been fine this whole time? Well, Mori HAD tried to tell them he had an Usa-Chan repair kit, due to the last time they had spilt tea on him, he didn't want his cousin to be sad if it were to happen again- but the three loudest ones of the group didn't give him a chance to talk.
"We're back!" Tamaki said, smiling as the guests, and group members, cheered.
"Yay, you found her!" said Hunny, smiling happily.
"Of course we did," Said the twins simultaneously.
"It was a piece of cake, no trouble!" Tamaki said, earning an elbow.
"Oh, Tamaki's so smart!" One guest gushed, "He found her so fast!"
Tamaki beamed happily, holding up Ayame and showing her off.
"Oh I believe our time together is up, ladies" said Kaoru, looking at clock.
…
Ayame, having enough excitement for one day, was collapsed in the crib, chest rising up and down peacefully.
"When's Haruhi going to get here?" Mori asked, for once breaking the silence.
"Not until later" Said Kyoya, "She had something important to go do"
"~What was it?~" asked the twins simultaneously. Kyoya pushed up his glasses, flipping his laptop open.
"That's not my business to tell you" he said, fingers speeding along the keyboard at 120 words per minute- exceptionally fast.
"We should finish homework while Ayame's asleep. I have a feeling that if Haruhi doesn't show up before her nap that we may not get a chance to do it at all" said Hikaru, smiling a little.
A little while later, Tamaki poked his head over his best friends shoulder. "What subject are you working on, Kyoya?"
"Nothing. I've already finished."
"Oh" he said, Kyoya continuing to work. He couldn't help but wonder what Kyoya was always doing on that computer… He shrugged, going back to his math.
It started to get later, and the group was finished with work and the sun was just starting to set, Ayame was starting to stir in her crib
"Kyoya-sempai, How much later is later?" Kaoru asked, "Mother wants to know when We'll be home"
"She should be here soon"
Ayame had woken up, and Haruhi still wasn't here. She was zooming around in her wheeled walker like speedy-ganzalas, giggling each time ran into and bounced off of the walls, which didn't seem to be getting old anytime soon. At first they were a little worried, but it seemed like the only thing they needed to worry about getting hurt was the wall.
"AIIEE!" She squealed, bouncing away about a foot before bursting into laughter again. The Hosts made sure someone was watching her at all times, due to recent incidents.
"Hey, should we be getting worried?" Hikaru asked, noticing the sun was nearly done setting.
Kyoya didn't have an answer, but he did know that she had told him she would be here sooner.
