I've been trying to get over my anger about last week's ep, which mainly revolved around Jeff being dismissive of Annie (f*# buddy sex isn't that much of a stretch for Jeff and Britta). I don't know if we're supposed to believe (as I hear Harmon tweeted) that Jeff was lying, but I decided to buy a nice cabin at Camp Denial and pretend he was. So, this is Jeff's POV after Paradigms of Human Memory.
Someone Should Tell Her
Someone should tell her she is beautiful, inside and out.
Someone should tell her that she doesn't have to compete with anyone. That if she were to look around, she would see tons of guys falling all over themselves to get near her.
Someone should tell her that it's okay to have fun every once and a while, but that he understands that she needs structure and lists and those damn purple pens.
Someone should tell her that she is worth more than passing looks and the occasional touch of a hand.
Someone should tell her that, sure, she's high strung, but it's more adorable than annoying. And it's cool that she's smart, because she's also really hot and funny and sweet.
Someone should tell her that she should be with a guy who is as considerate of her feelings as she is of everyone else's. That she should be respected and cherished for who she is, because she's amazing.
Someone should tell her that he will do whatever he can to help her move out of that hell hole she's living in, because her safety is his top priority and he can't sleep at night for worrying about her.
Someone should tell her that she deserves to have normal dates with nice guys that include movies and dinner and flowers.
Someone should tell her that she's not crazy and it's not all in her head. That actually, she's pretty damn intuitive. And while it can be annoying, it's nice to know when you need her you don't have to say much and she'll still be there.
Someone should tell her that she is loved, much more than she'll ever know.
Someone should tell her all these things. It just won't be me.
