During History of Magic, I was close to falling asleep until Draco started talking.
"If this class gets any more boring, I might actually consider initiating a conversation with a Mudblood", he whispered. I giggled, which caused Professor Binns to turn from the board and stop his lecture.
"Do you have something you would like to share, Mr. Malfoy?" he asked.
"No, Professor", he assured, which almost caused me to laugh again.
"Good. Then you won't mind if I continue with the lesson?"
"No, sir. In fact, I insist upon it", he sneered. I had to bite my tongue to keep from bursting out into hysterics.
"Good. Now, as I was saying..." I drowned out the rest of his lecture and tried sleeping again, but to no avail. Only seconds later, I felt something hit the side of my head. I looked down at my desk and saw a crumpled up piece of parchment. I looked to Draco, who looked at me expectantly. I opened the paper and read it to myself.
'That is if we can learn anything. If he has a brain, Weasley has money', it read. I laughed to myself, then ripped off a small piece of parchment and started writing.
'Yeah, and if Weasley has money, Potter has parents. And if Potter has parents, Granger is a Pureblood'. I lightly threw the parchment at Draco's head and waited for his response. In the middle of reading it, a smirk slowly appeared on his face. I started laughing quietly to myself.
"Yeah, right", he mouthed, and I went into a small fit of giggles, accidentally being too loud.
"Malfoy, Parkinson, what is going on over there?" Professor Binns questioned loudly.
"Nothing, Professor. Please continue", I smiled innocently, and so he returned to his extremely boring lecture.
