When he comes across Eliot, head down, shoulders shaking, he's worried something is very wrong. That is, until he comes close enough to realise that Eliot is laughing.
He tries to ask what's happened, but Eliot takes one look at Nate's confused face and slides to a sitting position against the wall, wheezing with mirth and pointing at the door to Nate's apartment. With one last worried look at Eliot, he pushes the door open and is immediately assaulted by the sound of ringtones.
Lots of ringtones.
He steps further into the room and clocks a grinning Parker sitting on the couch and munching away happily on a bowl of popcorn as Hardison and Sophie take the batteries out of the hundreds of blackberries sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Nate! Talk to Parker!" Hardison hollers at him and he looks back to the blonde.
Parker glances at him and shrugs. "It's fall," she tells him chirpily. "I went blackberrying!"
Carefully clamping his mouth shut, Nate turns on his heel and goes to join Eliot in the hallway. He almost manages to close the door before the first burst of laughter escapes.
