Me: Yeah...you have no idea how sorry I am for being super late with this...*turns to the knights to see that they are all skeletons*...huh...well...I'm gonna try and bring them back to life while you guys read this. I only own my OC's and the plot.

The AutoKnights VII: The Battle for Paradise

Chapter 21: Vengeance

Nearly half an hour went by since the interrogation ended. Trevor was now calm and back to what seemed like himself again. Kari still shot him looks every few minutes not very approving of the actions he took. For Trevor, it felt like the child of light had venom in her eyes. It would have bothered him if he had actually given a crap or two. But he gave zero.

All of them now were back in the room with the big table and now all they could do was just wait until either Cobra, the GCW, or Stan said they could go. Their work was done. They got all the information they needed out of Miki they were ever gonna possibly get. Now it was just a matter of what to do with her.

"She should come with us." Sonic was the first of them to voice an opinion. "She's a con. Isn't it kind of our job in the first place to deal with them?"

"That...space federation or whatever it's called got to her first, unfortunately. So they get first say on what happens with her." Shadow retorted.

"It still doesn't seem right." Henry agreed with Sonic. "Out of everyone in the world, we're the ones most qualified to handle Decepticons now matter how small they may be."

"This is Miki Shikibu we're talking about here. She may be smaller than the average con but she still has a hell of a bite." Steve added. "I should probably call up Yuriko and tell her and Hikaru about this."

"No."

That no came from none other than Trevor.

"Yuriko and Hikaru won't be told a thing about Miki." He never sounded more serious. "If they know it'll only complicate things."

"And how would that be, Trevor?" Kari stood up challenging the leader of the team. "Why do you think the only siblings Miki has should be left in the dark about us knowing where she is? Do you plan to just hurt her more?"

"We have enough problems on our hands right now, Kari. Dragging Yuriko and Hikaru into it would only make things difficult like I just said. Not just for us but between the two of them as well."

"The only reason things would be complicated if they were told is because you pretty much lost it in there. Do you have any idea how close you were to killing her?"

"Oh please. Compared to what happened on Cybertron, I just scratched her. She's lucky that's all I did."

Kari's vision of her leader was beginning to crack seeing him like this.

"What is it with you? Have you got some dark energon in you or something? You're scaring me."

"Oh I'm sorry, Kari. Would you rather me go back in there, apologize for what I did and offer to take her out to dinner?"

"I'm not saying that!"

"I don't care what you're saying about this! I'm not sorry for what I did and I never will be! The only thing I'm sorry for is that I didn't make her hurt more."

"Listen to you! What has happened to Trevor Bauer?! Bring him back!"

"I'M RIGHT HERE, KARI! AND THAT HEARTLESS MONSTER IN THERE IS THE BITCH WHO MURDERED MY ENTIRE FAMILY! DON'T YOU FREAKING DARE TELL ME TO SHOW HER MERCY WHEN SHE DOESN'T KNOW THE MEANING OF THE WORD!"

It was at this point where intervening seemed like a good idea. Violet got up out of her seat and started to pull Trevor back from Kari while Tai did the same thing with his younger sister.

"Okay okay okay. Let's just all calm down." Violet tried to say in a gentle voice.

"Yelling is gonna get us absolutely nowhere. There's already enough stuff to deal with without you two bickering." Tai agreed.

Kari angrily shook her way out of her brother's grasp.

"It isn't my fault our leader has developed a bloodlust." She growled.

"You know what, Kari? You're right." Trevor spat. "I lust to see her suffer and bleed until the point where she begs me to kill her. And you wanna know something you don't wanna hear?"

Kari made no visible response.

"Had she done to you what she did to me, you would think the exact same."

Everything and everyone in that room froze as all eyes were now averted to Kari who was glaring coldly at Trevor. Even TK was scared for what his girlfriend might do.

"I would NEVER think about taking a human's life. Natural, or cyber. I used to believe you would think the same." She hissed.

"I'm sorry you vision is shaken, Kari." Trevor turned away from her. "But regardless of that. My decision is final. We will relay the intel of this dark energon drill to the Autobots. But Yuriko and Hikaru will be kept out of the loop for now. Who here agrees?"

Kari said nothing and looked to her other team mates to see if they actually were on board with his plan. TK, to her surprise was one who raised his hand.

"What?! You're siding with him on this?!" she shouted.

"Kari, I know how you feel about this but Trevor has logic in his idea. You know how Yuriko is when it comes to Miki. If she learns about this, she'll demand she be set free and we just can't do that. It will make things harder for us and with all that we have piled up already with zombies, a drill, and that Gavin guy...I think its best that we don't tell them."

"But Yuriko is my girlfriend!" Steve protested. "If she finds out I kept something like this from her, she'll never forgive me!"

Tai, being the second in command, decided to put his input it before more fighting started.

"Look, both sides have good arguments. So this is what we're going to do. We'll put it to a vote and end it there. That will be final decision. Agreed?"

Everyone nodded and then Tai spoke again.

"All in favor of keeping Yuriko and Hikaru in the dark about Miki."

Tai raised his own hand followed by Shadow, Trevor, TK, Takamon, Sonic, Rouge, Rika, Violet, Fry, Stitch, Tai, and Takato.

"And all opposed?"

Those hands against belonged to Kari, Steve, Henry, Lilo, and Amy. That made the votes twelve to five in ruling of those in favor.

"And that's it. No one here tells Yuriko and Hikaru." Tai concluded.

Kari crossed her arms and took her seat glaring at TK.

"I can't believe you." She hissed.

TK was frightened. Seeing an angry Kari was so rare but when she did come out, it was heavily cautioned to all to stay out of her way until she feels better. TK sat back down next to her but didn't dare say a word.

"Now that we got that out of the way." Trevor began. "We have a new problem, people. I trust Miki as far as I can shoot her but she doesn't have a reason to lie. And that means we got a drill to worry about."

Meanwhile back in the holding cell, two CIA agents were bringing Miki some food as per the GCW's and Stan Smith's orders. She was a prisoner and barely considered human but they still fed her. The two agents bringing her the food, agents Bricks and Sampson, a blonde and a brown haired man respectively, were smirking as they walked into her cell and set a tray of food on the table in front of her without much grace.

"You don't eat much do you, Decepticon?" Agent Sampson asked.

"Nah man. She must feed on that energon stuff. With any luck this might poison and kill her." Bricks taunted.

"Yeah. She stopped being a human a long time ago. I don't know why we even have to bring her food." Sampson said again.

As the two of them made their way out, they found their path blocked when the door unexpectedly closed.

"Ah not again." Sampson complained. "This damn door's been doing this all week."

Bricks got on a radio walkie talkie and spoke into it.

"This is Agent Bricks, we're locked in the Decepticon holding cell again. Please assist."

Nothing but static came back.

"Repeat, this is Agent Bricks. Does anyone copy?"

"Oh you humans."

Miki's voice came to them and they turned around shocked at what they saw. Miki was standing up and free from the chair, the stasis cuffs keeping her arms and legs bonded together and her cybernetic weapons offline, now broken. In her right hand was a small knife that had been concealed away and in the left hand was a small device that had a blinking red light. Swiftly the agents were able to piece together that she had locked them in there. They both drew their handguns and pointed them at her head.

"Let us out of here right now, you freak!" Bricks shouted.

Miki only chuckled.

"Bricks, Sampson, you two have been taking such good care of me since I became a prisoner on this ship." She walked over to the table and took a bite out of the food she had been brought by the two of them. "Tell me, do you two have families? People you care for?"

Sampson and Bricks, unsure of what she was doing, decided to answer.

"Yeah." Sampson answered. "I got a wife and two girls."

"I just got married last year." Bricks added.

"Good good very good." Miki nodded then turned back to them. "It makes me feel more satisfied when I know there will be grieving and weeping."

Free of the stasis cuffs that were preventing her from arming herself, Miki turned around and rapidly turned her humanlike arm into the mechanical wonder it was, drew a plasma cannon, and fired two shots.

*Meanwhile back in with the knights*

"A giant dark energon drill." Takato repeated over and over. "It's just crazy. Dark energon is vaporized by heat. How can it make it to the earth's core and then corrupt it?"

This was a question that was difficult to answer. The intel on dark energon being weak to heat and fire came right from a past Prime. So it was clear that it was truth.

"Maybe Megatron found a way to make it sustainable in extreme heat." Steve gave out a theory.

"Maybe. All that matters is this. That drill and finding out everything we can about it is now our top priority." Trevor said.

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Shadow asked him. "In case you haven't noticed, the drill is on board the Decepticon warship. And we have no clue where it even is."

"Teletraan 1 and Nicole have both been working nonstop in trying to pinpoint the Nemesis. I trust them to do all they can." The leader replied.

Violet looked to Trevor as she took her turn to speak.

"Speaking of Nemesis...what are we gonna do about Witwicky?"

There came another difficult question.

"I suggest that for now we do nothing." Tai answered her. "For now, Nemesis Prime is with the cons. And given how much of an ass kicking he gave us, I don't think they'll be harming him. He's too valuable to them."

"Tai's right." Takamon agreed. "Having a human on their side only makes the cons even more of a threat."

"Because they know we won't go in for the kill on him." Fry finished for him.

It was too much for them to think about all at once. Dark energon, Nemesis Prime, a drill to the core of the planet. All they wanted was something to distract them from all this junk hoping a plan could be thought up in the future.

They were about to wish they never wanted that.

Rouge's ears began to twitch meaning she could hear something the others could not. She turned her head in the direction the noise came from quite confused as to what it was.

"Rouge what is it?" Amy asked.

The bat turned to the hot pink hedgehog to reply.

"There was...this noise. It sounded like gunshots but then it just...stopped."

"Where did it come from?" TK asked.

Rouge looked at him knowing no one here was going to like the answer.

"The holding cell."

It took Trevor not even a second to get up and rush out of that room towards the holding cell with the rest of his team in tow. Kari was trying her hardest to keep up with him hoping to prevent a possible murder. The door to the cell was already open and in the doorway was a limp arm. Trevor turned back and looked down at Lilo, then to Violet.

"Keep her right there." He sternly asked.

There wasn't even anything to argue as far as Violet was concerned. Trevor went on and she followed her order in keeping an eye on Lilo to make sure she stayed put. When the knights' leader entered the cell, he turned and gave a small gasp to see the bodies of Agent Sampson and Bricks with holes in their chests and stomachs.

"No...no not more..." Trevor muttered.

Rueben entered the chamber behind Trevor only to wind up gasping at the sight.

"What the heck happened in here? He wanted to know.

"She got loose….I don't know where on the ship she is." Trevor solemnly answered.

Rueben drew out a communicator and spoke into it.

"Hey blubber face, we got a problem. The con we had captured got out and took out two humans."

Gantu was up in the bridge when he heard that. As soon as he heard it, he activated the ship's surveillance system scanning each and every screen for signs of the crazed pretender. While they all searched, the bridge was then occupied by Stan Smith, Cobra Bubbles, and the GCW.

"What's happened?" Cobra asked.

"Shikibu escaped from confinement. She's on the loose somewhere in this ship." Gantu informed.

"Find her quickly." The GCW commanded. "We need her alive."

"What for?" Tai asked. "We already extracted everything there is to know about the Decepticons' plan."

"She is still our prisoner and we still have authority. We retrieve her alive." The GCW remained firm on her decision.

"Your authority over Shikibu has been revoked."

Once the GCW heard those words, she turned around to Trevor to argue against his words only to have herself temporarily blinded by the light surrounding his body as he took on his form of Optimus Prime. Once she had her vision back, she stepped towards him.

"And what gives you the right to say something like that to me, boy?"

"Have you clearly forgotten how easily I took the Wreckers away from you not too long ago?" Optimus spat at her. "You have no power over me. And now this is what's going to happen. Shikibu just murdered two humans on this ship and if she runs into anyone else, human or not, she will not hesitate to kill them too."

The GCW was struggling to come up with words to counter his as he glared right into her eyes, his face merely an inch away from hers.

"This is what's happening." Optimus then turned to face his teammates who followed his lead and transformed into their knight personas. "Shikibu is ours now. We're gonna spread out and try our best to take her into our custody. But guys...if you think for a second that she may pull the trigger on you, do not think twice to return fire."

"So in other words, if we see her, kill her." Kari glared at him defiant at the moment to turn on her ring.

Optimus didn't even respond to her. He only looked to the rest of his team pretty much ignoring her.

"Since we do we have a problem destroying Decepticons?" He asked them. "Back in Las Vegas, all of you didn't even hesitate to rip off their limbs and then use those limbs as weapons against them. And now all of a sudden THIS is where we draw the line?"

"It's different!" Steve shouted. "Miki was once a human being just like us!"

"Aha! Right there, Steve!" TK pointed at the team's medic spotting a flaw in his words. "Those are the key words right there. She WAS a human being. But she's not anymore."

"TK's right." Rika agreed. "Miki Shikibu may have been human once before, heck I'll even go as far to even say she was a caring sister to Yuriko and Hikaru. But that's not who she is anymore."

"Miki's a Decepticon. She swore her allegiance to Megatron and his cause long ago. Any scrap of humanity that she had is gone." Fry finished.

"Got her!" Gantu shouted.

All at once, everyone in that room turned back towards the bridge's screens and saw in one on the left, Miki blasting her way through the ship trying to find a way out.

"She's headed towards the portside engine room." Gantu said to them. "There are a few experiments down there."

Hearing that made Optimus a bit worried. He looked to another screen that showed the experiments Gantu was talking about

"Those experiments. Are they armed? Can they defend themselves?"

"Some of them can. But the other's aren't really fighters.." Gantu answered. "Why?"

Before an answer could come, the wall of the corridor the experiments were in exploded and out of the hole walked Miki. With a cruel smirk, she aimed her gun at the security camera and destroyed it.

"Oh no."

With that, Optimus took off charging for the hallway Miki was at with the rest of his team and friends in tow. As they took off with him, they all took on their AutoKnight personas to be prepared for whatever they may face. The doors were sealed shut and locked tight thanks to Miki hoping it would slow them down. Hearing that made Bulkhead charge ahead and bring out a wrecking ball through the machinery on his right sleeve. With a yell of determination, he swung his arm at the door and easily send it flying apart, causing Gantu, Rueben, and the GCW to go into complete shock over Bulkhead's new amplified strength.

Back in the bridge, Gantu saw that all feed to the security cameras had been broken leaving him with nothing but static.

"AutoKnights, come in. Shikibu cut off the cameras. I won't be able to guide you through the ship." He said through an intercom system.

"Thanks, Gantu. We'll be fine." Optimus said back before turning to his team. "Stay on guard."

He reached behind his back and pulled out his left side ion blaster while the rest of the knights also armed themselves with their own guns. Ratchet then took point as his chest armor opened up and the headlights from his vehicle mode appeared lighting the now darkened way. Miki had also decided that it would be fun to cut the power to the ship to make her escape easier.

Optimus took note of something as they neared another corridor. A smell. A very familiar smell.

"All of you keep going." He took off down the corridor on his own.

He followed the smell of burnt energon ammo until he found it's source. Once he did, the auxiliary power came back on and what he saw made him gasp. He saw the experiments. One of them super buff with a coat of purple fur and four arms, a little orange bug looking experiment with an enlarged head, another that looked like a small dinosaur with a round and hardened flat nose. There were a couple of others but he failed to notice their details once he saw one big one common with all of them.

They were all on the floor, motionless and with smoking holes coming from their chests.

"No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no."

As many times as the word came out of his mouth, it didn't make anything different, getting on his knees, Optimus checked for any signs of life. He then pressed his fingers to Fibber's neck. When he felt nothing beating against his fingertips, he shut his eyes and hung his head down.

"Optimus. What's going on?" Ratchet's voice came from his comlink.

He almost wasn't going to tell them. But the better part of him wouldn't allow himself to be dishonest. Slowly, he brought his comm up to his mouth.

"Moonracer...Bulkhead...these experiments...what are their names?"

"What?...Their names?"

"Please...just tell me."

The two newest knights started to get nervous.

"Um...There's Fibber, who you've met. Kixx is the one with four arms, Hammerface speaks for itself...Roxy...and Warpstron...why are you asking me this?"

There came no response through her comm.

"Prime...you are really scaring me. What happened to them?" Moonracer was demanding now.

There was going to be no good way to tell her news like this. So he just opened his mouth.

"Moonracer...Bulkhead...I'm so sorry...they tried to stop Shikibu...they didn't survive."

For the second time that day, everything seemed to freeze in a single moment of time. Moonracer and Bulkhead went as still as a tombstone and as quiet as the grave it was planted for.

"W-w…...wh…..what?" Bulkhead was trying hard to use his voice.

"No….no its... not true…."

"I wish that were the case here, Moonracer..." Optimus' face mask withdrew back into the collar of his suit. "These experiments are dead."

In their heads, Moonracer and Bulkhead could have sworn they heard glass shattering. A bit of their world forever broken. Kixx, Fibber, Hammerface, Roxy, and Warpstron. All five of them gone forever. As they both fell to their knees, the others all just closed their eyes in silence knowing how badly they must have been hurting.

"So Arcee...still think Miki should be left alive now?" Shadow actually had the audacity to ask her that.

To her own surprise, Arcee herself didn't have an answer. She was trying so hard to defend her case that Miki should be considered human. But this newest act made her really question if there truly was any humanity left inside that body of hers. All the pink knight could do was just bring a hand up to her face and pinch the bridge of her nose in deep thought.

Ironhide spoke up next.

"We...should go get the experiments...you two can stay here if you want...to..."

Ironhide stopped what she was saying when she looked down to the two newbies of the team only to see one of them. Bulkhead was there but his partner wasn't.

"Where did Moonracer go?" the gunslinger asked anyone.

Everyone, even Bulkhead turned to see that Moonracer had completely vanished. Jolt's head turned in the right direction to see an air vent in the ceiling that was left open. With a sigh, Jolt pointed and spoke.

"She's gone."

Miki had made her way through a series of corridors and doors before finally coming to a section of the ship that could serve as her escape. The engine room, which had an emergency exit built into it. Snickering, she walked to the door and then turned to look back at the entrance to the engine room.

"I'll be back, knights."

She reached for the knob. But before she could get a grip on it, a gold glowing energy arrow came out of nowhere and practically nailed her hand to the wall. She screamed in pain then turned around to try and see who shot it. She had to look up a bit but there she was.

Moonracer was hanging upside down by her knees from a horizontal pipe. She had her bow armed and she shot another arrow. This one went right through Miki's left hand and nailed her to the wall. The tiny archer knight jumped down onto her feet and prepared another arrow for launch. She held her position ready to fire if Miki made another move. The psycho pretender only stared at her with a crazy smile.

"So you're the thirteenth AutoKnight. How disappointing. I was expecting someone a bit older….and taller."

The taunt did nothing to Moonracer. She was too angry to let that kind of thing get to her. Her eyes were already brimming with tears.

"You monster. You...you killed them."

"Oh you mean those little monsters? Yeah granted I didn't have to but it's been a while since I've slain an Autobot so I needed something to ease the itch. And you know what? It felt good."

Moonracer had the arrow pointed right at her head. Her fingers were so close to releasing the line and letting the arrow fly. But something was holding her back. She didn't know what it was but something was stopping her from killing her.

"What's the matter, shrimp? Can't find your bearings?" Miki's right arm began to transform into a hidden plasma cannon freeing it from the grip the arrow had on it. "I may not be able to kill a bot, but I'll settle for a knight."

Slowly Miki's arm rose up and began to point right at Moonracer. The barrel began to glow from the inside charging up a shot about to be fired.

She never got to do so. Another shot from behind Moonracer tore off Miki's arm and caused her to fall to the ground ripping her hand out of the arrow nailing her to the wall. Moonracer looked behind her and saw Optimus standing there with the barrel of his right hand ion blaster smoking. He looked over at Moonracer was shaking and letting silent tears fall while she looked at Miki. She still had an energon arrow set to fly right at her and through her head.

"Moonracer, it's okay. Put away your bow."

She didn't move a muscle. The young Hawaiian knight kept her aim pointed right for Miki's chest.

"Moon, I understand what you're going through right now. But I'm ordering you. Disarm yourself." Optimus tried to be as firm as he could while being gentle at the same time.

But she still didn't relinquish her weapon.

"You...you were right, Optimus." She shakily said. "She's nothing but...a h-heartless monster..."

"Moon..." Optimus didn't like where this seemed to be going. "Please...put it down."

"Those experiments out there...she...she murdered them...w-w-without a second thought..."

She pulled back more on the string. Optimus saw it.

"Moonracer..."

There was nothing more Moonracer had to say. Her two fingers on the string began to slip until finally, it was released and the arrow was sent flying and impaled Miki right through the center of her chest. The Hawaiian knight was about to pull her string back to arm another arrow but Optimus rushed to her and stopped her from loading again.

"Moon! Stop! Calm down!"

Moonracer was thrashing in Optimus' grasp trying so hard to get free so she could get free again. So she could put another arrow right through Miki's brain and end her permanently. It got to the point where Optimus had to pick the girl up and carry her a bit away from the former Decepticon. While he carried the tearful knight away, Miki fell to the ground as the energon arrow keeping her pinned to the wall dissolved.

Now in front of the closed door, Optimus set Moonracer down attempting again to talk to her.

"Moon! Moon listen to me!"

Optimus grabbed hold of Moonracer's shoulders and held her steady.

"You gotta calm down, Moonracer. Please."

"I can't calm down!" She cried wetting the ground with her tears. "She killed them, Optimus! The experiments on board this ship! Gone! And she doesn't even care!"

"I know what she did, Moon. I know. I've been there before. She did the same thing to me years ago. With my sister, remember?"

Moonracer remembered right there what else Miki had done in the past. Through her tears she nodded at Trevor.

"She took my whole family just like she took part of yours. I'm sorry about that. I really am. But killing her…it won't make any difference."

"But...she deserves it...Prime she hurt us...she hurt me...and Bulkhead...so bad..."

"I know, Moon. It hurts. It hurts like nothing you've ever felt before. You're gonna hurt for some time I know, but…there's nothing we can do. What's done is done."

The girl was still sobbing and trying to wipe her face dry only to have more tears wet her cheeks.

"W-w-what do we d-do?" she asked him.

Before replying, Optimus sighed and pulled the youngest knight in for what he knew she really needed. A hug.

"Moonracer, I have made a lot of friends on Cybertron with the Autobots. And some of them, a good number of them, have died. They were all friends of mine but I know their deaths won't be in vain. We need to stay strong so those experiments won't have died for nothing. Do you understand me?"

She was crying even harder but she knew Optimus was right. She just didn't want to admit it. All she wanted to do was feel sad for her now dead cousins. Just like she knew Bulkhead was right now. Optimus knew it too. She just hugged him back as tightly as he could for a few seconds before he pulled away from her.

"Why don't you go and find Bulkhead? I'm sure you two need each other right now."

Moonracer nodded again and began to head for the door.

"What about you?" she asked in between sobs.

"I'll be right behind you." Optimus muttered.

With that, she was out the door. After she left the room, Optimus carried out what he really planned to do all along. He lied to Moonracer. He had no intention of leaving that room. He shut the door and locked it with him still on the same side of the lock. Then as he tightened the grip on his blaster, he walked back over to the injured Miki who was trying to move. But as soon as she saw Optimus standing over her with a gun in his hand, she froze knowing what he wanted so badly to do. But he was restraining himself for as long as he possibly could.

Back outside, Bulkhead was on his knees with one hand clutching his head and the other on the chest of Hammerface. His buggy black eyes were leaking tears as he felt the familiar grasp of his best friend's arms wrap around him.

"Oh, Bulkhead." Moonracer cried.

Right there, the rest of the knights minus their leader came in and swamped the little pair with a group hug. Even Chromia was in on it.

"Moon, Bulkhead, we are so sorry." Arcee whispered.

"This is just horrible." Jolt sounded guilty. "We weren't fast enough to save them. It's our fault."

"He's right." Trailbreaker agreed with his fellow knight. "We should have known Miki would try to escape."

Sniffling, Moonracer and Bulkhead answered them.

"Don't blame yourselves for this." Moonracer pleaded. "You're not in any way responsible."

"We know you guys did everything you could to save them." Bulkhead added.

They still felt guilty even though they knew their two newest knights didn't hate them. They put them down and let them wipe their eyes.

"Where's Optimus?" Jetfire asked.

Moonracer finally looked up and wiped her eyes, clearing her vision. Once she did that, she noticed Optimus wasn't there.

"I thought he was here. He said he would be right behind me." She told them. "He must still be back in that engine room."

"Wait a minute." Ironhide just realized what that meant. "You mean to tell me Optimus is alone right now…with Miki?"

Now everyone gasped when they realized what that meant. They all go up and dashed for the room. But the door was locked and they began to bang on it and yell at Optimus to let them in. When they realized that wasn't enough, Blurr ran away from the group in search for Cobra who was the only one there who could open up that door.

Despite their yelling, Optimus fully ignored his friends and continued to glare at the murderer of his loved ones. The only blood he ever knew. This was his chance. His chance to finally get back at her. But although he wanted to so badly and at the same time, he wanted not to because it wasn't the right thing to do. The original Optimus would have known that. Then again, the original Optimus wasn't human and now his emotions were running all over the place. Optimus looked at Miki's left arm. It was fully extended to the side and her open hand was reaching for her shot off right arm which was still in the form of a plasma gun. And finally after ten full minutes of silence, Optimus spoke.

"Those experiments you slaughtered. There was no reason for you to kill them." He growled.

She was in heavy pain, but Miki still found the strength to speak.

"This...is war...Prime. Casualties."

All that emanated from his mouth was a growl before his next words came to him.

"You don't have any more information for us, do you, Miki?"

"Yes I do."

He wasn't buying it. Because she was still going for her gun. And that meant one thing.

"No you don't."

That was it. Optimus lost it. He stood straight over Miki right then and there, cocked his ion blaster, pointed it at her stomach….

….and pulled the trigger.

He fired his gun at least twenty times before being satisfied enough to stop. And after the small amount of smoke cleared, he saw what he had done. Miki's whole upper body had been completely obliterated and torn to shreds. The only things intact now were her legs arms and head. But they were now their own separate pieces. Purple energon was now leaking a puddle where she once laid. Although what he had done was completely insane, Optimus felt no remorse at all.

He finally got his revenge.

But was it all worth it? It still didn't change the fact that Amber was gone and now so were those innocent experiments. He didn't care about that right now. Revenge had always been something he had wanted ever since he found out his family was murdered by that psycho con. And now he got it. Miki Shikibu had finally paid the price for her unspeakable actions.

"It's over, Miki. I'll be sure to give Megatron your regards."

Then the door finally swooshed open again and everyone came running through. They didn't hear all the blasting that had just happened in there, so when they saw the heap Optimus had created, they lost their voices and all their eyes went wide. Even Cobra himself was shocked. Optimus just put the ion blaster back in his suit and made their way towards them.

"Optimus…what did you do?" Jolt asked a bit scared of the teen.

Optimus looked down at Miki one last time before walking away.

"I just did this whole universe and the one next door a favor. That's what I did."

With that Optimus left. But Steve on the other hand fell to his knees completely horrified for what Optimus had just done.

"Steve, what's wrong?" Amy asked.

"Don't tell me you're sad because she's dead." Rouge added. "Sure Optimus was a little out of control, but everyone here knows she deserved this."

"It's not that." Steve answered. "Guys….what am I going to tell Yuriko when she finds out?"

Oh yeah. They all forgot about that. Yuriko was the only one anywhere who believed Miki could be brought back to the side of the light. But now she would never get another chance to try. How was she going to take the news of her sister's death? And even more importantly,

How will she react when she finds out that Optimus is the one who killed her?
