Just to note: I don't own Sherlock (Unfortunately) or Molly etc...
Experience with a child
In order for Sherlock to be able to use the lab he had to put up with Molly's younger sister for ten minuets.
Sherlock Holmes did not see why people liked children so much. To him they were irritating, had no attention span and very few brain cells, in his view, not enough.
This is why Sherlock was not happy to be in the company of Molly's five year old sister.
She was quiet just watching him for a few minuets, until Molly walked out of the room.
"Hello!" Her voice was cheery and she had a huge grin on her face. Sherlock stared at her for a minuet trying to deduct why so was so happy. Not able to find a reason he dropped his gaze back to his work and replied with a dull 'Hi'.
She was silent for another three minuets. Sherlock had started to come to the conclusion that the child was smarter than she seemed.
"My sister fancies you"
Or not.
Sherlock sighed. "No. Molly's hormones kick in when she's around 's attracted to me, and not very good at hiding it".
"Oh". Another pause.
"Are you att-attra-attracted to her?"
"No"
"Why?"
"Because I'm a sociopath and I can keep my hormones under control;. Im married to my work, everything else is transport".
The child looked at him for a few minuets. She sniffled before wiping her nose on her sleeve and asking, "so your gay?"
Sherlock looked up at her from his notes.
"What?...No No!"
"Okay"..."Im playing Angel Gabriel in my Christmas play at school next week"
Wait. What? Angel Gabriel? Christmas? What was this child talking about? Did she have amnesia and forget what they were just discussing?
Just as he opened his mouth to ask Molly walked in, Sherlock had never been happier to see her. Quickly as he could he gathered up his papers and left the lab with a quick "Thanks Molly, got everything I need."
Molly stood there with a confused look on her face. She sent her sister a questioning glance, only to receive a lot of giggling and two words.
"Sherlocks Gay!"
