From a Distance Under an Umbrella
Dear Grandson of mine,
If you are to ever find this letter, then there is something you must do.
There is a shop that grants wishes. Whatever belief you have had before about the supernatural will be challenged here. You are to stay with the Shopkeeper and do whatever he asks, for he also has a wish that needs granting. You will have to be prepared to leave the world behind, leave behind the realm of reality. No longer will you face peaceful days, unless you wish it so.
This shopkeeper is a dear friend of mine, even though he denies it. He is lonely, many years have passed since he has taken the shop. He will not tell you his suffering, nor the loneliness. As my grandson, I accept that times have changed, and understand that you may feel obligated to break tradition. But, the power of names is a strong one, and your name itself bounds you to this very dimension.
Sincerely,
Doumeki Shizuka.
