She danced and laughed at him, her hair and dress swirling as she moved. White, her dress sticks out in his black world. Just close enough for his fingers to nearly reach her. But when he reached she skipped away, her eyes losing their sparkle and her smile leaving. He called for her to stay but she just starts to run tears trickling down her face. Why does she stay for moments? Why does she leave? That girl in white. The one who haunts his dreams.

He teases her. Standing near enough for her to recognize him but too far to reach. His hair sticking up in odd places but his suit is clean and pressed. Black in a white world. He offers her his hand with an impish smile offering a dance. And she reaches. But he takes his hand away and as if remembering a sad story his face becomes disheartened. He leaves with one last sad smile over his shoulder. Are his eyes sparkling because he wants to cry? Or does he want to hide his amusement? That boy in black. The one who haunts her dreams.

Why can't the world be grey? They wonder. So that boy and that girl don't stick out. So they can finally touch. So they won't leave. So they can dance. But the worlds they see each other in are black or white. Never Grey. So they each wake up feeling lost confused and most of all alone. They fall asleep every night getting glimpses and moments of each other. But that's all. He has never touched her and her fingers never grip his. Never is the world grey. Never are they out of black or white.

But tonight they are in casual clothes. Not his suit not her dress. Hardly any trace of black or white on them. They move faster than ever knowing this might not last long. neither reaches. She leaps towards him and he opens his arms and embraces her. And for once the world is grey. She is in his arms and he is clutching her. She begins to cry and he laughs. They cry and laugh for what seems like eternity. Finally they have met. Finally the world is grey. For just a moment. Then she's in white and he's in black. But they haven't let go. So they dance In and out of black and white. Neither knows the other's true name and neither cares. For one night the world is both black and white. And that's all that matters.

Started out differently,But im pleased with the result

Touya and Touko are the heros of Black and White versions. You never meet the other character so I thought maybe they dream of each other once or twice. Yeah.

Pokemon is not mine.
