Isabella followed her mom outside the airport. It was very sunny outside. Home at long last, she thought.
She couldn't wait to see Phineas. After all these years of staying in a place far away from him, she was yearning for him.
She wondered if he still looked the same. She also wondered if his attutde changed over the years: was he still the fun-loving, exciting, lovable Phineas she knew? Or has he grown up? Her thoughts were cut off short when she realized that her mom already put her bags in the trunk of the car. She walked up to the door of the vehicle, slowly opened the door, and hopped inside. And after minutes of wondering and hoping, they had finally arrived at their cozy, old house.
Phineas sat under the big, shady tree in their backyard. He sat there with nothing to do.
He immediately thought of of her made him want to hug her and warm her. Then, he suddenly heard a car pull up near the driveway. But he didn't need to see who it was, because from his spot he could see a familiar-looking girl with raven-black hair shining lustfully in the sunlight. Her cheeks were rosy red, the perfect line of her jaw to her cheekbones tempted him to find out who it was; but he didn't, he stayed under the tree.
Some time that afternoon, he got hungry and got a grilled cheese sandwich and started munching on it on his way back to the tree. When he returned, he found the girl he saw earlier that day sitting under the tree. The girl looked up at him.
"Phineas? Is that you?" the girl asked.
"Isa...Isabella? Isabella! It is you!" Phineas ran up to her, carried her, and spun her around.
"I thought I'd find you here." she said, giggling.
"Why are you here? I thought you'd be here in two weeks?" Phineas asked her.
"Well, I was thinking that I should surprise you." she said, grinning.
"So, how long are you staying here?" Phineas asked her.
"I'm...I'm staying here...forever." she stood up and hugged him tightly.
"I love you." Phineas said as he hugged her back.
"I know that." Isabella enjoyed the feeling of being hugged by the person she loves.
"Really?" Phineas asked.
"Yep." Isabella said.
Their foreheads touched. Soon, they felt warmth as they kissed, and Isabella tasted grilled cheese as she pulled him closer.
They are finally together, at long last.
