Indestructible|G|Conner/Wally|Wally can't stop crying|fluff

A/N: I had loads of fun writing this just cause I love an overemotional Wally. The fact that Wally feels everything so enthusiastically is what made me fall in love with his character in the first place. Also Conner/Wally happens to be one of my many OTP's cause I'm a total slut and whore my self out to many different ships.

It happened so fast, or at least it did to everyone else. For Wally it looked more like it was going in slow motion and he just wasn't quick enough to prevent it. Superboy was down before any one could do anything about it.

Kaldur felt responsible he was the leader he should have had them prepared for everything.

Artemis was stunned Superboy was supposed to be indestructible but he went down hard it was a little scary.

M'gann was scared and worried and sad and a lot of other adjectives, not even Robin could name them all if he tried.

Dick felt a little responsible to, he trained with Batman; world's greatest detective, which in his mind translated to; him being one of the few people in the world who could anticipate every possibility, only apparently he couldn't.

And Wally was...Wally was falling apart at the seams.

The second the mission was over and Superboy was back at Mount Justice, Black Canary and Red Tornado took over. They had him hooked up to all these machines and Wally had never seen Superboy look so small.

He's been there all night, hadn't even left once to get something to eat. It' was weird, he didn't feel hungry, just scared. Terrified really because he kept thinking that Superboy might never wake up that he would look that small and vulnerable forever.

Wally gets up slowly moving toward the bed before crawling in next to his unconscious friend resting his head against Superboy's chest moving with Sup-Conner, moving with Conner as the other breathes. Wally doesn't even realize he's crying until the tears soak through Conner's shirt and wet his cheek.

Wally hates to cry, has hated it for as long as he can remember. Whenever he starts he just can't seem to stop, it makes him feel so week and powerless. It's really not long before he's a sobbing whimpering mess, muffling all of his embarrassing noises in Conner's shirt.

There's a hand on the back of his head holding him against the other's broad chest and suddenly Wally's crying even harder.

"Sorry Wally," Conner apologizes removing his hand from Wally's head. It's awkward and silent for a long moment, the only real noises are Wally's muffled sobs. "uh...Wally, please stop crying? I promise I won't ever touch you again."

Wally sniffles slightly and sits up, bracing himself on Conner's chest. "T-That's n-not the rea-son I'm c-cr-crying." Wally whimpers and he hates himself because he sounds so damn pathetic and Conner's looking at him like he's some broken thing.

"Then why?" Conner looks so confused it makes Wally laugh a little but the tears don't stop coming.

"Cause I'm s-so h-happy," Wally sobs by way of explanation and Conner looks just as confused as he did two seconds ago. "Y-You're o-okay" Wally adds when he takes in Conner's expression.

"If you're so happy, then why are you crying?" Conner tilts his head slightly brows furrowing more in confusion and Wally can't help but kiss him.

It' soft and slow and sweet and just about everything Wally ever could have asked for and more. There's a small moan building up in the back of his throat that makes his lips quiver. Conner's hand wraps around the back of his neck and stays there even after they pull apart.

And really it's only after Wally has the best kiss of his life that they both realize that Wally is still crying.
