Tinted

Grumpy hated how much she scared him.

He couldn't admit it, but he was scared of how beautiful she was, and how she innocently didn't realize it, even as she managed to charm the others. He was afraid of how she was already brightening their lives… that, even though they knew her for only a short time, he could care about her so much.

Now it was too late to tell her. Even though she figured out the truth, he never told her. And he feared, more than anything, that she didn't know just how much she touched his heart.
