A one-shot about Percy falling asleep in class.

"Kronos…" Percy muttered in his sleep. "Beckendorf, Silena, I didn't mean too… my fault…"

The whole class broke out into fits of giggles and chuckles.

"Good morning class," Paul Blofis said, coming into the classroom. "Today, we are going to – Percy?"

He rushed over to Percy's desk, which was in the far left corner of the room.

"He fell asleep again Mr Blofis," a perky girl with glasses said.

"Why didn't someone come and get me?" Paul cried. "You should all know by now."

Paul shook Percy's shoulder.

"My fault…" Percy said. "Could have saved them!"

"No-one could save them Perce," Paul said soothingly, guessing what his stepson was muttering about.

Percy often got nightmares about the last Great Prophecy – he had seen so many things in his short lifetime; things that even adults had not seen, and would never see.

Suddenly, Percy's eyes snapped open. His mouth opened, and then closed repeatedly.

"Are you OK Percy?" Paul asked quietly.

"It is my fault," Percy answered.

"Yeah, we got that much from your sleep talking!" Some kid yelled out.

Percy glared in the general direction of the shout, and they all flinched.

"It is my fault," Percy insisted. "I could have saved them! I should never have abandoned Beckendorf. If I hadn't, he would still be here!"

"Or," Paul interrupted, "you both would have died."

"But what about Silena?" Percy challenged. "I should ha-have talked to her! She didn't have to switch sides!"

"She choose to be on Luke's side," Paul said.

Percy flinched at Luke's name, but powered on.

"She was forced! And it's all my fault!"

"Percy, you can't possibly believe that!"

"You don't understand! It was my fault! I could have saved their lives! I was too worried about myself!"

"You did everything you could!" Paul said. "You have to believe that!"

"Obviously it wasn't enough," Percy said coldly.

"What brought this on Percy? This was almost 18 months ago." Paul asked, changing the subject.

"18 months doesn't erase the pain. And he told me."

"He?" Paul asked.

"Kfmus…"Percy grumbled, uncomprehendingly.

"Who?" Paul was confused now.

"Kronos!" Paul's eyes widened. "He told me! And he was right! I could have saved them all!"

"Percy, you cannot listen to him! He is using you!" Paul said.

"How do you know what he'll do? You're not like me! You don't understand what it's like!" The ground started to shake slowly at first, then faster. All the desks started to vibrate. The books on the teachers desk fell off and scattered everywhere. Pens and pencils rolled off of desktops and onto the floor, breaking.

"Percy, calm down!" Paul comanded.

"I'm not doing anything!" Percy yelled.

"Your mood is reacting with the ground! You have to calm down!"

There was a bright light outside the door suddenly, but as quickly as it came, it was gone.

A man rushed inside the classroom and grabbed Percy's wrists.

"Percy," Poseidon said calmly, "slow your thoughts. Think positive things. Don't become any angrier. Calm."

"Dad?" Percy asked, shocked.

"I'm here. Be calm Percy," Poseidon said.

The ground slowly came to a halt, and Paul breathed a sigh of relief.

"W.O.W." Some kid said. "This is awk-ward!"

"Percy, I think you should come with me," Poseidon said.

"Why?" Percy asked nervously.

"We have to get you to camp. Now."

So, its short… who cares! Im not doing another chapter; you can just make up some ending!
