Eames walked into the warehouse and threw his keys on the table. It was 9pm and dark outside, and he'd gone to get coffee from a small coffee shop down the road.

"Took your time." Cobb said, grinning.

He gave him a mock annoyed look and put the coffees down. "Just be glad I got here at all. I could have taken them all and ran."

"The Coffee Thief. That's one hell of a code name. Marks beware." Eames rolled his eyes, Cobb's kids seemed to be rubbing off on him, he was much happier after the Fischer job lately too.

Ariadne had taken a lot of pride in her work and her station was now full of layouts just ready and waiting to be used.

Saito dropped in every now and then to inspect the team and so far there hadn't been one visit where he had been disappointed.

Yusuf mixed many compounds, trying to create one that made the dream very stable while being easy to get out of using a kick.

Eames glanced over at Arthur and paused. The Point Man didn't look his best. Sure, his suit was immaculate, but there were so many signs of exhaustion if one just bothered to look.

There were dark shadows around his eyes, the life gone from the chocolate brown orbs, filled with a blank, almost glazed look. He looked thinner, like he hadn't had time to eat lately, which was true. This new job was taking up a lot of their time and they rarely had time to themselves, having to eat in work, which Arthur never did.

He moved slower than usual, his fingers almost dragging across the keyboard rather than the quick dance they usually made over there.

He looked a wreck.

The Forger walked over and placed the coffee in front of him, giving him a friendly smile instead of his usual mocking smirk. He always took the piss out of The Point Man, but he was only being playful.

"Here, looks like you need it darling."

"Thanks." Arthur mumbled.

Cobb frowned, concerned for his best friend, he longed to tell him to take a break, but he knew the younger man would refuse and wouldn't appreciate it. He didn't like seeming weak in front of everyone else no matter how many times they told him that exhaustion wasn't a sign of weakness.

An hour passed and Eames looked over at Arthur again, the man's shoulders were dropping low and his eyes were half-lidded as they flicked over the screen, memorizing the data on the new mark.

The Forger sighed in annoyance before walking over. If Cobb wouldn't do anything, he would.

He pushed The Point Man's hands off the keyboard and mouse before saving the document and turning the screen off. Arthur began to complain but Eames clapped a hand over his mouth, staring firmly into his eyes. "You haven't slept in god knows how long darling, you're going home NOW."

Cobb looked at Eames with a grateful look and he gave a small nod in return. Eames slung Arthur's arm over his shoulder and they exited the warehouse and walked to the car

The drive to Arthur's apartment was silent as he didn't have enough energy left to speak to his teammate. They got to the apartment block and went up to his room. He fumbled with the key for a moment before The Forger rolled his eyes and grabbed the key, unlocking the door for him and gently shoving him inside. He grabbed The Point Man by the arm after locking the door and dragged him to the bedroom and pushing him down on the bed.

"You. Sleep. Now."

Arthur rolled his eyes and frowned, but soon stopped complaining after Eames glared at him. He sighed and lay down, out like a light while Eames lay down on the sofa.

Cobb wouldn't miss him for tonight.
