umm... Hello! So, this is a oneshot that I thought up about how Yoko might have felt during episode 8. The Never shall I forget lines are based from the book Night by Elie Wiesel. I had to do a school assignment along the lines of Never shall I forget, and after a while this episode of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann came to mind.

I do not own Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Yoko, or Night.

Never shall I forget that split second in which my world was changed.
Never shall I forget that flash of light.
Never shall I forget the sight of that gunman rising from the ground.
Never shall I forget the sound of his scream of agony.
Never shall I forget the feeling of my heart being ripped from my chest.
Never shall I forget the disbelief and how I wish this wasn't reality.
Never shall I forget the ominous silence that followed.
Never shall I forget the sight of all hell breaking loose.
Never shall I forget his gunman standing back up and the relief that washed over me.
Never shall I forget how he wouldn't respond.
Never shall I forget the smile on his corpse.
Never shall I forget my tears mixing with the rain.
Never shall I forget that feeling of despair.
Never shall I forget that day.
Never.
