It didn't take the Straw Hat crew very long to arrive at Loguetown. After anchoring their ship at the harbor, Luffy and his crew walked through the busy street of Loguetown.

"Woah! What a huge town!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Lots of pirates stock up at this town before heading out to the Grand Line. You can get pretty much whatever you want here at a very reasonable price, but they can be negotiable depending on the seller." Cecilia said while resting her hands on her hips.

"Alright! For my upcoming great adventure, I'm gonna need to get some cool stuff." Usopp said while looking at his surroundings with amazement.

"I'll bet there's lots of good food to check out here." Sanji's grin turned into a perverted one. "And lots of good women!"

"Like we didn't see that coming." Cecilia muttered.

"There's something I wanna buy too." Zoro said.

"Oh? And how would you do that? You're totally broke, aren't you?" Nami asked with a sly smile, causing Zoro to look away while scratching his cheek.

"Okay! I'm gonna check out the execution platform! I want to see it! The place where the Pirate King died!" Luffy said before running off on his own.

"Hey, hey! We haven't decided on a place to meet back up yet!" Usopp shouted, but Luffy ignored him considering he was long gone to his destination. "Man…he's hopeless."

"How about we just meet up at the entrance of the market after everyone's done with their shopping spree? Sound good?" Cecilia suggested with everyone agreeing. Before Cecilia could do anything, she was pulled by the arm and was being dragged. "What the-?!"

"Let's go." Nami said while dragging Cecilia away from the others.

"Nami?! Wha-"

"We're going shopping. Clothes shopping."

"What?!" Cecilia shouted with widen eyes.

Nami stopped, causing Cecilia to bump into her before Nami turned around and said, "Look, you obviously need some new clothes. All I ever see you wear is a tank top, shorts and boots along with your accessories. "

Cecilia crossed her arms and asked, "And what's wrong with the stuff I'm wearing?"

"Nothing. But I think maybe you should broaden your options when it comes to clothes and accessories. I mean, you don't expect to keep wearing the same stuff everyday while we're making our way to the Grand Line. And it wouldn't hurt for you to get a trim for your hair. When was the last time you got it done?" Nami asked with her hands on her hips.

"You're gonna keep bugging me about it until I give in, right?" Cecilia asked with an eyebrow risen.

"What do you think?"

Cecilia sighed to herself and said, "Fine. I'll stop fighting you and give in to it." Cecilia blinked a couple of time before asked, "Why the hell am I quoting a rapist?"

Nami's response was a shrug of her shoulders before continuing on with Cecilia following her.

"No go here?" Cecilia asked Nami who walked out of another clothing store she rejected.

"Yeah, all the clothes in there are too elegant. We need to find a store that has casual clothes." Nami said before hissing in pain and lifting one of her feet off the ground. "Let's take a break. My feet are killing me from all this walking."

"Well, what did you expect from wearing high-heeled sandals? Maybe you should consider buying regular sandals or even boots like regular people." Cecilia suggested.

Nami snapped her head up towards Cecilia with a shocked expression. "How dare you?!" Cecilia jumped a bit by the volume of Nami's voice. "Besides, I can't get rid of these shoes. These cost over 200 beli." Nami stated as she placed her foot down.

"How much was it originally?"

"900 beli."

"Well then, that's not pain, that's karma." Cecilia said before shaking her head. "Look, I think I know a place that has great clothes, shoes and accessories at really good prices."

"Really?!" Nami exclaimed with her hands holdings each other in excitement to match her smile.

"Yeah. Follow me." Cecilia said with a wave of her hand and walked on with Nami now following her.

"Here we are." Cecilia announced as she and Nami walked in through a clothing store. Nami was expecting a nice store with some beautiful clothes and accessories here and there, but she was disappointed. The store they entered was something you would see in an everyday clothing store: regular t-shirts with little or no print designs, regular jeans from casual to skin-tight, etc. Basically, everyday clothes, nothing too out there that Nami was used to.

"What the…?" Nami muttered.

"Welcome to my place." Cecilia said in a mocking tone of voice with her arms wide open.

"We're shopping here?" Nami asked as she looked around the store before turning towards Cecilia and said, "You led me to believe that we were really shopping."

"I know." Cecilia said with a chuckle at the end. "I couldn't wait to see your face when you saw this place. Do that face again." Nami's face showed the look of 'displeasure'. "I love it!" Cecilia exclaimed before walking forward.

Nami sniffed a bit before asking, "What's that smell?"

Cecilia stopped and looked over her shoulder before saying, "It's going to be your smell until you make a purchase." Her response made Nami groan a little before following after Cecilia. "Now pay attention, I know where the good stuff is."

"Wait. You've been here before?" Nami asked.

"Yeah. When I made it out of the Grand Line, I shopped here in Loguetown to some stuff before I worked under Alvida and her crew. Where did you think I got the stuff I'm wearing right now?" Cecilia said while walking towards one of the racks.

"How long since you were last here?" Nami asked as she follows.

"Umm…A year or two." Cecilia said. "But enough about me, here's your first lesson: Clever girls hide stuff they want to come back and buy because sometimes they don't have enough belis at the time or they're too cheap to spend money they think they should pay for." As Cecilia was talking, she was going through from hangers.

"Who would be that cheap?" Nami asked.

"Looked in the mirror lately?" Cecilia responded with a grin, causing Nami to push her shoulder with a matching grin on her face. "Last time I was here, I found a pretty cool top in the back of the shelves and…" Cecilia stuck her arm inside the racks and moved it around a bit before pulling out a black strapless tube top with a v-neck and golden thread laced up the front, surprising Nami in the process. "Blam! Clever girl, right here." Cecilia complimented herself before resting the top over her arm.

"But I didn't see…" Nami was stunned that she didn't see something even close to the top.

"You just gotta know where to look in this store. Think of it as Pirate Lesson 101; if you see something you love, hide it so other pirates won't get your loot." Cecilia said before walking around the store.

"Noted." Nami said before she walked around herself.

"Oh, one more thing." Nami turned around to Cecilia who said, "When you find something you like, be sure to check any pockets."

"Why?" Nami asked with tilted head.

"Because this isn't just a clothing store, they also accept donations which they use to sell to people at good prices. Sometimes with the clothes, you might find some pills in the pocket. In fact, one time I found a sleeping pill in a store once and I slipped it in Alvida's drink. That one pill made her sleep for eight hours." Cecilia sighed to herself and added, "That was the best vacation me and her crew had for that whole year."

"I don't know whether you're weird or just insane." Nami said while shaking her head.

"That's for me to know and you to never find out." Cecilia teased.

Both of the girls continued to look around until Nami sees a few shoe racks that everything from sandals to high-heeled shoes. "Oh yeah, shoes!" Nami stopped herself for a moment before saying, "I believe I'm that excited to see shoes in this store."

"Look, just don't freak. Shoes may be funky, but I know a trick to make them smell like new." Cecilia said while grabbing some pants.

"Thanks for the warning." Nami said sarcastically before grabbing a couple of shoes that caught her eyes. She turned the shoes around to see how much they are worth and was surprised to see they cost way less than the shoes she's wearing now. "Wow! This store is practically giving them away!" Nami ran towards Cecilia and practically shoved the shoes at her face. "Can you believe they're selling them for this much?!"

Cecilia blinked a couple of times before pushing the shoes away from her face and said, "Believe me when I say you're not first person to react like this when shopping here." Cecilia placed her hand on Nami's shoulder and said, "Look, eventually you're gonna learn to keep all that excitement on the inside. For now, just calm your nuts off."

Nami laughed a bit before saying, "Sorry, it's just…I've never gone shopping with another girl."

"Didn't you ever shop with your sister back then?" Cecilia asked once she stopped looking at the racks.

"No. The only clothing I got growing up were hand-me-downs from Nojiko. In fact, Bell-mere was barely making any money from selling tangerines she was harvesting. I got a bit greedy since Nojiko was getting new clothes while I was getting her old ones. I even said a horrible thing to Bell-mere…I said that I wished that I were adopted by someone richer." Nami explained with a sad expression while Cecilia was silent and listening to Nami.

"When I ran away from home, Genzo found me and told me how Bell-mere used to be a troublemaker like I was and even joined the Marines. In fact, she found me and Nojiko during a battle she and the other Marines were fighting in. He said that seeing me still alive and cheerful gave her another reason to live while she was on the verge of death. She brought us back to Cocoyashi Village and both me and Nojiko were sick. She demanded for a doctor to help us first, not the other way around. When we got better, Bell-mere decided to adopt up as her daughters. At that time, I learned that our bond is and always will be strong." Nami finished with a tear trailing down from her eye. She blinked when Cecilia gently rubbed it off with her thumb.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to cry!"

"It's fine. Don't worry about it. Lots of people cry, even people who are rotten to the core. It's like when you go out to a restaurant: you eat terrible food, you lie about it, you go home and cry about it." Nami laughed at what Cecilia just said.

"And with that, my job is complete." Nami was confused by what Cecilia said. "I made you laugh instead of crying. Your face is much prettier that way." Cecilia said before wondering around the store and looked at some of the accessories the store had.

Nami was silent for a moment before she smiled and said, "Thanks, Cecilia."

"Oh. What a pretty necklace." Nami walked up towards Cecilia who was holding a golden chain with a golden cross in her hand. "This reminds me of the cross necklace I got when I was a kid."

"You're right. That is pretty." Nami commented.

"My father gave a necklace that looked just like this when I turned 10. He said that it was present for completing my year of training alive, but I knew he made that up to hide the fact that he's a bit of softie. I practically wore it everywhere I went." Cecilia explained.

"How come you're not wearing it now?" Nami asked.

"I lost it during my training. I didn't realize the chain broke off until I got back home. I wanted to look for it, but my father said that it was too late, and it was probably lost at sea. His face didn't show it, but I told tell that it broke his heart a bit when I lost it. It broke mine too." Cecilia said without noticing her eyes were showing a sad expression.

"You should get it." Nami suggested.

"Nah. It's not that big of a deal." Cecilia brushed off the suggestion before placing the necklace back on the hook it was hanging from. "Besides, since that day I learned to never wear necklaces longer than a choker. That way you don't have to worry about the chain or thread snapping off while you're out at sea."

"Come on, Cecilia. You should have at least one thing that reminds you of your childhood like with the tangerine trees on the Going Merry. Besides, no one says that you have to wear it while fighting. You could wear it while we're on the Going Merry or if you want, we could find a sturdy necklace chain." Nami said before taking the necklace off the hook and handing it to Cecilia.

"I don't-"

"Cecilia, if you don't get this necklace, I'm going to purchase it myself and slip it around your neck while you sleep." Nami said.

Cecilia blinked a couple of times before smiling and accepting the necklace. "Nice to know my personality is contagious." She said which made Nami giggle.

"Hey." Cecilia and Nami turned around to see a couple of girls about their age who were wearing too tight and/or too short clothes standing behind them.

One of them had light tanned skin, silver eyes and thin blonde hair that reaches to her shoulders with a streak of red on the left side of her bangs. She had multiple black tattoos on her chest, arm and navel. She was wearing black fishnet stockings, torn black short-short and a black bustier, layered necklaces and multiple piercings, leather finger-less gloves and black high heels.

The other girl had pale skin with silver-blonde hair tied back into a half ponytail and yellow-green eyes. She had a red and black tattoo on her left arm, a beauty mark below her left eye, wears pink lipstick and a pair of black rectangle glasses. She was wearing a knee-length leather jacket with fur, a cut and scratched black sleeveless turtleneck sweater, golden chain necklace, black fingerless gloves, brown belt, black transparent pantyhose and leather pants/boots.

"That's a cute necklace. I had my eye on it." The girl with thin blonde hair stated with her left hand resting on her hip. "I was just bringing my friend here to see it." She gestures the other girl standing slightly behind her. "To get her opinion on it."

"It definitely suits you better than it would her." The other girl said while giving Cecilia a sneer.

"With that said, hand it over." The blonde girl ordered with her right hand held out.

"Hmm, let me think…no. You should know the rule: 'Turn your back on the rack, you're under attack." Cecilia resorted, causing the blonde girl to drop her hand. "That's not me, that's the law of shopping."

The girls tossed their hair at the pirates' direction before stomping away with their heads held high.

"That was intense." Nami said with a sigh of relief.

"That's the norm no matter where you go." Cecilia stated while picking out a couple of shoes for herself.

"You said to look in things, right?" Nami asked while digging around one of the sleeves before pulling out a top that made her gasped. "Cecilia, check this out! And on my first try!" Cecilia turned towards Nami to see her pressing a shirt against her chest. It was black sleeveless top with the word 'MODE' printed in the center in pink with the base in a pink mesh-like design.

"Nice! Whoever hid that is gonna be pissed." Cecilia commented. "First things first, quality check." Cecilia placed her stuff down on a bench before walking towards Nami. Nami handed her the shirt and watched as Cecilia felt around it. "Fabric is good and no mysterious pit stains. Nice work, navigator." Cecilia said before handing the shirt back to Nami.

"Thanks. I was taught by the best." Nami said before mockingly bowing to Cecilia. "Thank you for teaching me, o' wise one." Cecilia responded by mockingly bowing back before the girls giggled at their own silliness.

"Captain Smoker?" Nami and Cecilia were talking with the owner of the clothing store who was bagging all of their items they were purchasing. Along the line, the owner mentions a Marine officer in Loguetown.

"Yeah! You know, he's one of the top soldiers from Marine Headquarters. This town used to be full of pirates heading for the Grand Line. But since the Captain was stationed here, every pirate who comes into the city ends up in the slammer. He's not normal. They say he's a monster. They even say he has the power of the Devil's Fruit, you know." The owner said, causing the girls' eyes to widen.

"The Devil's Fruit?" Nami repeated.

"Yeah!"

"Guess that would make sense. If pirates could find it, whose to say that Marines couldn't find at least one or two? They might've even found one when they capture pirates and raid through their treasure." Cecilia said.

"But why would a Marine even need a Devil's Fruit?"

"Two reasons: to go up in ranks or even the odds against pirates as you go further into the Grand Line. Most of the time it's because they want to go up in ranks to get more privileges that comes with it." Cecilia stated.

"Here you are, ladies." The owner handed them their clothes. "You two have a nice day."

"Wait a minute. Where's the smaller bag?" Cecilia asked.

"What smaller bag?" The owner asked.

"The bag that's should be holding the necklace unless it's with the clothes." Cecilia said.

"I'm sorry, miss, but I didn't see a necklace with your purchase." The owner stated.

"What? I was sure that I had the necklace with the clothes and shoes." Cecilia said.

Nami gasped and said, "I bet it was those two girls who were eyeing it. Ma'am, did a blonde hair girl purchase a cross necklace?"

"I'm sorry, miss, but do you know how many girls come in here to make a purchase and/or donate stuff." The owner said.

"Forget it, Nami. It's gone. The bitch must've stolen it while we were checking out your new shirt." Cecilia sighed to herself and said, "I knew it was too good to be true. The one thing I really liked because it reminded me of my childhood and I couldn't even have that." As soon as she said that, Cecilia grabbed her stuff and walked towards the entrance/exit of the store.

"Cecilia!" Nami called out but was ignored as Cecilia walked out of the store. "Thank you." Nami bowed at the owner before taking her stuff and ran after Cecilia.

"Relax, Nami. It was just a necklace. Nothing to get upset over, I mean, look at my face. Do I look upset?" Cecilia asked as she gestures her expressionless face to Nami. "It's not a big deal."

"It is a big deal. We should find those girls and demand them to give back that necklace. I wanted you have it because your face lit up when you saw it." Nami said as she and Cecilia were walking in the streets.

"You sure it wasn't just because of the light in the store?"

"Pretty sure."

"Nami, it's a necklace. It's gone. There are plenty of other necklaces I could find during our journey to find One Piece." Cecilia said.

"Okay, if you say so. Let's see if we can find a good hair salon so we can get our hair done." Nami suggested.

"Well, considering this is Loguetown, I'm sure there's going to be one…" Cecilia trailed off when she noticed a hair salon with a sign that read Live or Dye. "Right here. Love when that happens." She pointed at the salon.

"Live or Dye?" Nami read the sign with a disturbed expression on her face.

"Even I find that disturbing." Cecilia agreed.

"Look at this. They're having a 'two for 1' special." Nami stated when she noticed a flyer taped on the window.

"That's pretty convenient." Cecilia said.

"Come on, let's go in. We are in a bit of a time crunch here." Nami said.

"What the hell? I survived shopping, I can survive this." Cecilia said with a shrug of her shoulders before she and Nami walked inside the salon.

"You see, I told you it wouldn't be so bad." Nami said as she and Cecilia were back to walking in the streets.

"Says you. You weren't the one who had every hairstylist in the salon fighting each other to see who would work on your hair." Cecilia grumbled.

"Can you blame them? They've never seen hair as long as yours. That's the price to pay to when you have long hair." Nami stated.

"Touché." Cecilia said.

As they were walking around and doing some window shopping, Cecilia noticed a familiar blonde standing at the corner of a store that sells leather clothing from regular clothing to things you could mistaken for bondage. The blonde wasn't alone as she was flirting with a man who she has wrapped in her arms. As Cecilia was walking away, she stopped to notice a familiar necklace around the blonde's neck with the familiar cross resting on her chest.

"Unbelievable!" Cecilia shouted in anger.

Nami turned her heads towards Cecilia and asked, "What?"

Cecilia didn't respond as she dropped her stuff by Nami's feet and stomped her way towards the blonde girl and the man with an angry expression on her face. Nami followed Cecilia with her eyes and noticed the blonde girl wearing the cross necklace before letting out a small gasp.

"Hey! How're you guys doing?" Cecilia greeted, grabbing both the blonde girl's and man's attention "Cute necklace! Probably look better on me considering it's mine."

"You snooze, you lose, bitch." The blonde girl said with a smug look on her face.

Cecilia faked a surprised expression before saying, "Nice language. You kissed your obviously closeted boyfriend with that mouth?" The man looked the other way, proving her point. Cecilia waved her hand and said, "You know what? I wouldn't even want it now. Now that it's on you, it might as well be a Satan's cross. So now I walk." True to her word, Cecilia walked away while the blonde girl and the man shrugged her off and went back to their business.

Once Cecilia made her way back to Nami, Cecilia grabbed her stuff while Nami said, "You can't just let her win."

"Oh, forget it. It's over." Cecilia said before walking off.

Nami stayed behind and turned her head towards the blonde girl until an idea popped into her head. Noticing her friend not following her, Cecilia stopped and turned around to see Nami walking towards the blonde girl and the man before Nami said, "Excuse me." Once the blonde girl and the man turned their attention towards her, Nami suddenly grabbed the necklace by the chain with some of her top and punched her in the face; causing the blonde girl to yelp in pain and fall on the ground, ripping the necklace off as well as some of her top to reveal a surprising secret.

When everyone around the area gathered around, they gasped at the sight of the blonde girl's revealed chest. Nami held up the blonde's top to reveal the inside of the top had sewed-on chest pads and everyone could see the blonde's real chest size was barely an A-cup, not a D-cup that her top create the illusion of. The blonde girl gasped when she felt a breeze on her bare chest and quickly covered them with her hands.

"B-But h-how…" The blonde girl was so embarrassed and humiliated that she couldn't even finished her sentence.

"When you lie as long as I have, you noticed things. It would probably help if one of the pads wasn't bigger than the other." Nami said with a smirk as she dropped the fabric on the ground. "But seriously, next time make sure your lie is believable compared to your boyfriend being straight." With those last words, Nami walked away with a satisfied smirk on her face and the cross necklace in her hand while the blonde girl was left to deal with the crowd forming around her.

Nami stood in front of an extremely impressed and satisfied Cecilia and said, "Here you go." She handed the necklace to Cecilia. "Don't worry, we'll get a sturdy chain."

Cecilia accepted the necklace as she commented, "That was awesome!"

"Yeah. I kinda just do stuff. Like I just did while you were standing here watching me." Nami said with a grin.

"Thanks, Nami." Cecilia said with a smile until she noticed some Marines coming by. "Uh oh."

"What?" Nami asked.

"Grab your stuff and calmly walk away." Cecilia ordered before calmly walking away with Nami following her example and act like they were just passing by.
