Title: You Rock

Pairing: Dean/Castiel

Summary: Dean and Sam notice something a bit off with the song on the radio.

Notes: Takes place in the latest season, after Sam gets his soul back.

I own nothing.

Dean was never one to question AC/DC. They were awesome. Their songs were awesome. End of discussion. So when he couldn't find his tape, he was not very pleased, but he tuned into his radio station and was gifted with the sweet twang of the opening strands to 'Love Song'. That was cool, he was down with that. Maybe they could play 'Highway To Hell' afterwards. Now that he wasn't marked for the torture slab, it wouldn't be so awkward to listen to.

Then the singing started up, and there wasn't anything different to notice. Not at first. But when he was turning onto an exit route, the chorus started up, and Dean felt the familiar sense of 'wait, that wasn't right, what did they say?' act up. Sam beside him peered at the radio with a puzzled hint of a smile on his face. The chorus passed without Dean figuring out what was wrong, but when it came around again, Dean listened and realized what it was.

"Dude," Sam laughed. "Isn't this song supposed to say Jean?"

"Yes," Dean said, pursing his lips and wondering if they had both just misheard it.

"It's saying Dean."

"I'm aware."

Sam grinned at him out of the corner of his eye. "Did they record a gay version I never heard about, or is something messing with you?"

"I was under the impression humans liked songs being sung to them."

The sudden appearance of Castiel in the backseat made Dean swerve a little, but he had gotten used to it enough that he didn't cause an accident.

"Dammit, Cas!" Dean yelled, keeping his glued on the road as he regained control of the car.

"Was that for the teleport or the song?" Sam enquired between chuckles.

"I apologize if I picked an inappropriate song," Castiel said, frowning a little and looking at Dean through his reflection in the rear view mirror. "I noticed you listen to this particular band quite a bit, so I thought something from their albums would be best to express my feelings towards you."

Dean's face burned a bright red and he hunched his shoulders. "This is not something you spring on a dude when he is driving." He glared at Sam when he gave a little giggle. "Why the hell did you think I needed serenading, anyway?"

"The children in the glee club seemed to deem it the best option for most situations, and the recipient of a love song tended to be rather flattered..."

"Wait, what?" Dean was considering just pulling off to the side and parking so they could have this conversation properly. "You were watching Glee?"

"With Sam, yes."

Dean shot Sam a look, which he shrugged off. "I've been out for a while. I needed to get caught up on everything that happened in the last year and a half."

"Glee, Sam."

"It's really popular!"

"Dean, I would like to return the conversation to my love for you."

"Oh my god." Dean's blush returned full force and he pressed the accelerator a little harder. They needed to get a motel or a bar or something. "I am not singing anything back to you."

"I understand," Castiel replied, though Dean couldn't help but notice he sounded a little bit disappointed.

"And I'm not saying anything about this when Sam's right here."

"That means he likes you back," Sam mock-whispered to Castiel.

He couldn't help but smile when Dean said nothing more, simply burning and even brighter colour.
